Never thought we would finally get here. I've missed Jimmy's trial but here for the verdict watch. Thoughts on how the prosecutors did presenting this one?

They did a fantastic job, IMO. Quite impressed with them

I’m impressed as well. It’s a difficult case with all the circumstantial evidence. I think they did a good job deciding what pieces to put into evidence. If they had included everything it would’ve been too much for the jury to sift through what is relevant to these specific charges and how it pertains to Rodgers. I think the evidence introduced will be different items in MS trial.

MS 's trial is going to be way different. The practice and many other things will be included. Circumstantial? The state proved, imo, that he was not there to attend a grad and the evidence proved he was involved with the murder.

Deliberations notes:

- Jury is not sequestered.
- No cut off time; they’ll decide how late they want to deliberate.
- Most evidence is with them in the jury room except anything with blood, DNA or considered a biohazard.

I don’t mean circumstantial like they didn’t prove it’s accuracy. I mean testimony and evidence included that is classified as circumstantial or hearsay, admissible but relies on a jury to form their own opinion. They did a good job.

If you watched the trial, they discussed the circumstantial and hearsay evidence, and what corroborated facts enough to be included in testimony.

Just ran into Mark Sievers' attorney in the courthouse. He briefly told me his team is still on standby for their November 12 trial call. Judge Bruce Kyle has consistently told Sievers' team to be ready to go as soon as Rodgers trial is done.@winknews

Agree. The hardest part for me, and I know many others because I had messages, texts, etc, was wondering why they didn't include certain evidence or call certain witnesses. When you have a case with so much evidence & so many witnesses, a big part of the process is to pare it down so it doesn't overwhelm a jury. You always have to come back to the original goal - a conviction. Best practice is to connect the dots as closely & directly as possible without unnecessary clutter.

Also agree that Mark's trial will be completely different. Completely. Some of the same witnesses, but with the addition of several more. More, and different, evidence. Will take on a way different tone. I dread it. I already feel like I need a shower just thinking about it. ugh

We are back in court. Looks like we have another question.

The note is: can the court provide 11 copies of the court instructions?

Neither side opposes to that. They are printing the copies and then they will send them back.

That sounds very interesting.

They either HAVE a verdict and just want to make sure paperwork is correct.... or are debating between 2. I think its a good sign.
