Juror #2 the guy in "wranglers"?

"Okay the jury has lost their damn mind. Rumor has it that one of the sitting jurors wants to trade places with an alternate juror. As you recall when Juror #2 was drawn as an alternate, she cried all the way to her car. Well, today one of the jurors who is currently deliberating has asked the judge if they can trade places!!!!!!!!!!! I KNOW! Now in a normal universe this would never be allowed. But this is Judge Stephens we are talking about here. So stay tuned.

But wait there is more…"

If orange is the new black, is Arizona the new Florida? :)

I certainly hope not. No juror should disregard their oath. That is wrong and I am a very strong believer that JA should be given the death penalty. But it must be done the right and honorable way.

Swearing to uphold one's oath as a juror is a serious matter and imo, jurors take it very seriously.

I have been a juror five times in my lifetime. 4 criminal cases and 1 civil case.

One was a death penalty case that was high profile in our area. I did not nor would I ever go against something the Judge has instructed me not to do and I believe my fellow jurors followed the instructions also. Nothing was talked about except the testimonies that came from the witness stand and evidence that was entered.

I don't know if you have ever been a juror, but if not, maybe its best to talk to some of your friends who have been a juror. I think you will find jurors will do exactly as the Judge instructs them.

If they are so weak they cant uphold their oath, they should not ever be jurors to begin with. If known by anyone (friend-family) or even by another juror they may confide in that would be automatic grounds for dismissal and we sure don't need to lose another juror at this juncture. The other jurors would need to report it to the Judge asap as it would be a grave violation.

What I am a little fearful of is of the one who has a psychology degree even though they aren't a practicing psychologist or the one who has a family member who is. I have found that they tend to give mental illness way too much credit for things that humans do and want to turn mental illness into an excuse when it shouldn't be. I just hope and pray they don't try to pull clout over the other jurors and try to assess JA themselves.

imo

I was a juror once on a case where a man almost stabbed his brother to death. The brother lived to testify against him. A lot of important information was hidden from us, including facts about two other people he had nearly killed in the past. I believe our justice system is broken and is a byproduct of the slow decline of our country in the last 50 years. Yes, I would use the internet if I were a juror in order to facilitate the justice that our system so often withholds from victims.

I have always wondered if the roommates didn't wash their clothing between the time Travis was killed and found. We're lucky the evidence was reserved.

You have to trust the system to present only the pertinent facts.

Say a look on the internet shows you that some defendant beat the crap out of some guy ten years ago and served time for it. If you take that into account when the court doesn't think it's pertinent you could cause a mistake. Why did he beat the crap out some guy? Well you won't be able to find it because it was ten years ago so you just think the guy has an explosive temper. Then later on you find out he beat the crap out of the guy because he was raping his wife and he walked in on it.

:dunno:

At this point Jodi's been convicted and this is the penalty phase. I think almost everything should be available to them. If they found out the information that makes many of us think she was ready to go on another killing spree, would that matter to them?

I thought about that too. IIRC, Jodi mentioned loaning her stun gun to someone, so I'm guessing that she had one? That possibility was never mentioned by Juan, but it may be only because he couldn't prove it?

A few weeks back, a WS member posted a pictures of Tavis's neck. It showed two distinct 'dot' marks that could have been from a stun gun. I don't keep any pictures, nor do I have links to the pictures, but maybe someone can look at any neck pictures for the two marks. If they were stun gun marks, I wonder why it was identified as such and so stated in the trial. Unless the length from the death to discovery of the body caused some issues.

IMO the timeline does not allow for Travis to have been incapicated from a stun gun. The time from the last pic of him alive and Jodi standing over his slit throat is under two minutes. Plus he was able to get his hands up to try and grab her knife. Jodi had two deadly weapons and the element of surprise

Just reviewed the blood-spatter evidence by way of Gray Hughes' animations. Lord help me. But I could NEVER forgive someone who so aggressively butchered someone I love. Never.

She also had the will to use them mercilessly.

What would happen if someone used a stun gun on a person who was wet and had wet feet? Anyone know?
