That seems, well, just ridiculous. I've been on several juries and the booklets (your notes) are confiscated at the end of the trial, they are not for personal use. They are only used during deliberations, why else would they be taking notes? to write a book. I think something got mixed up again today, MeeBee, that makes no sense.

They can't be brought home. They can ONLY be used in the deliberation room during deliberations..afterwards destroyed.
They are the property of the court....

@TrialDiariesJ: Can we individually and silently look at our notes on breaks
Defense says only when deliberating
Pro agrees #jodiarias #3tvarias

Sorry guys. I was wrong.

So? She's just a talking head like any other. Greta thought she would get it.

and I trust Greta a lot more than Nancy Grace!

So was JA able to speak with Nurmi???

Speculations?

Oh boy..if they asked for autopsy photos her goose is cooked.

beans in chile is called yankee chile down here in Texas. You'd do fine and would you like a big hunk of cornbread with it? It has jalapenos and cheese in it.

If that'a true I'm comin' to TX - I grew up picking the beans out of chili as a kid. The texture. Yeeeccck.

Not all her appeals. She gets one if she gets the Death penalty. Then she has to figure out the rest and beg for the court to approve an appeal after that.

Yes, I thought I read that somewhere. Thank you.

But, but....Jodi doesn't relate well to other women. Well, okay, to anyone...but she sees herself as a Goddess who can make men weak in the knees. She may adapt to that environment but I doubt she will thrive. She can't even behave in jail...forget prison.
I respectfully disagree. From mid-teens until the time of her arrest, Jodi probably used her sexuality as her 'go-to' manipulator. Being surrounded by women who may not be influenced by that manipulator, Jodi will just develop and hone other manipulators.

We already see evidence of that before Travis' murder - repeatedly threatening to commit suicide; manipulating a situation to make herself appear to be a victim; intimidation; gaslighting and engineering chaos.

In every relationship, Jodi needs to be admired - but it isn't just admired for her appearance or sexuality, so she'll learn to use new things to attract others and be needed by them if they're useful to her - something as simple as sharing snacks from commissary. She needs others to view her as sweet, generous, and innocent. This is what helps along her persistent victim mentality. (This is exactly what she did with the Hughes via triangulation.)

Now, whether she will thrive or not is fair game. I'd say a 'good' psychopath would easily adapt to prison. It's in the interest of self-preservation for them to adapt. But I also would predict a psychopath would choose to allocute too. I've never seen anyone as narcissistic as Jodi. I wouldn't want to predict how she'll do in prison - but I do think she'll try her damndest to adapt simply to get what she wants when she wants. I don't believe she'll ever not manipulate and use others for her gain no matter who she is surrounded by.

That is wrong. They can use notes during deliberations, not during breaks or when NOT deliberating.

I disagree but i can't copy and paste. They were told they can't look at their notes on breaks. They can ONLY use them during deliberations. I just went and double checked

How is that different than my statement that you quoted?

I really don't think NG has much credibility. She's been wrong on many cases and doesn't get her facts right a lot. I just put it out there.

Nancy Grace championed the Runaway Bride and Duke Lacrosse Rape Hoaxer

She was going to tell him she wanted to allocute this morning?

Too late.. :)

He is her atty. She can see him as long as the jailer agrees.
But this case is over and to the jury now.

MK is oddly silent isn't he. Of course he wouldn't start any rumors :jail:

BBM: Yes ^^^ this is very worrisome, IMO. When "Exhibits" were requested this morning, I was thinking WTH ?

They have to sentence JA -- NOT review anything that pertains to the verdict of GUILTY of 1st Degree Pre-Med Murder !

:gaah:

But they are deciding if someone should die for it. If they want to pull out the crime scene and autopsy info and go over that, they will be able to see how heinous this all was.

My thoughts exactly.

Well I am going to have to sign off for a couple of hrs- which only means one thing - the Jury will come back with a verdict before I get back here.......

Looking at the poll from Daisydomino, I was suprised that I'm only one of 9 from the 22-29 age group. We talk about a "young jury" being more inclined to vote for the DP, but 65% of websleuthers (that voted) are 50+ ladies/gentlemen and (seemingly) eager to go for DP.

Thanks for the poll Daisydomino, very interesting.
Count me as one of them!!!:seeya: 54 year old female here- want the Death Penalty for Jodi, and yes I am Pro-JSS!!! And Liberal!
