What about my question? Are those painted rocks or that fake bark stuff all around the bushes?

Sorry...they are red rocks + red mulch under the shrubs.

I haven't watched the ICA trial much at all, only turned up the sound when I saw G, C, or L testifying. But the few times I was actually listening closely, it appeared Jose Baez had to be instructed numerous times as to how to word a particular question. It reminded me of the defense guy in the BC case. Usually in first degree murder trials, the lawyers are well versed in how to shape their questions to conform with proper procedure, protocol and keep their question from eliciting something like a hear-say response, etc. That's why I made the comment I did about Judge Stephens. He's a no nonsense guy, likes things to run smoothly and is a stickler for procedure. I think we'd have seen a *different side to* judge Stephens, if he had to put up with the constant objections as in the previous trial. JS's is a nice, southern gentleman, but in that same vein, you don't want to rile him. He can open up a whole big can 'o 'whup-🤬🤬🤬' if need be IMO. :rocker:

:woohoo:

:seeya:

OK, you are determined to talk about this so here goes. I know JS well. He commands respect as opposed to the judge in that other case. So, no, I think things would have run smoother and a whole lot less bias would have been present in the courtrom. First, I think he would have been extremely fair to both sides, therefore reducing the need to get dramatic. I think he would have put both BZ and HK in their places right from the get go. I think all attornies have to reword their question from time to time. It goes with the territory. I have seen well trained ones have to reword their questions. It does not mean they are not excellent attornies and well versed.

If I were the prosecutor, I would have shown this pic at closing.
How preposterous to think MY would go in his messy office and find those 2 ebay printouts, turned over on top of the printer.

His motive should be perfectly clear. He was anxious for CY to be rescued.... calling MF twice (noon and 1:30) and then having mommy call her as well should stand out as unbelievable.

Oh my, JTF, going into that snake pit would have been incredibly outrageously dumb. You are so right. I would have never gone into the viper pit. LOL

My thoughts exactly when I saw that picture. Why would MY go look through that mess of papers unless SHE had printed something and needed to go that printer to retrieve it.

Much ado about nothing. It was the only excuse he could think of to get MF to the house.

I don't think JS would have deemed JW as an expert witness in forensic computers, MOO, having watched hundreds of expert witnesses over the years. And I think if you wanted to see some 'whup 🤬🤬🤬', you'd have seen it if JS was advised about JW's WS posting the night of his testimony in court. JMO again. Curious, but do you think Jose Baez is an 'excellent' attorney in the CA case? What do you think of the judge in that case?

So it's after 5:00, do we think the jury is possibly close to a verdict? Don't we think if they weren't, they'd quit and go home for the week-end? I think it's about time for fran to slap me across the face, sit me down, and tell me to calm down, cause now I'm the one running in circles and pulling my hair out! :(

If we don't get a verdict today, I already have my schedule cleared so I can hang out in the courtroom Monday. Maybe I'll take Chad a better sign. LOL

I just put the local news on now, forgot to check at 5:00. Did anybody hear the local report on the trial? I was busy opening a bottle of wine. Don't think I can make it through the week-end. :(

Sorry...they are red rocks + red mulch under the shrubs.

Just wanna' say, you are a 'gem' to be here with us, providing first hand photos and such. Thank you so much.

Hope you're around for Raven's trial. That's another case that was near and dear to so many Websleuthers. IMHO, that's the case JY was referring to in his email to his sister. The one that had gone 'cold' and everyone probably didn't even remember the name!

I was so angry when I saw that! I knew exactly who he was talking about. The similarity to Michelle's murder was striking. Young mom to be, toddler asleep in the next room, husband allegedly had an alibi, but he found her dead body on the floor of the bedroom. She was smart, he was border-line intelligent, LOL, (he was intelligent in his own mind, at least!).

Anyway, Janet was her name and Raven is going down. Her last name is Abaroa..............and it took FIVE years to finally arrest him, but LE went to another state to bring him back. And Websleuthers were watching his every move during that 5 year period. humph!

Anyway, thanks for all your contribution to this thread JTF! You are sincerely appreciated.

Based on that picture, he could have easily spoofed a call (fax machine in the picture).

LOL, I knew it was 5:00 somewhere! ;)

Save the good stuff for the verdict, ok?................well, you'll probably need it no matter which way they vote! Either celebrating for justice for Michelle and Rylan or drowning sorrow! nevermind, don't think of that other possiblilty!

Good thoughts only allowed!
