I was absolutely not expecting this, gosh. An arrest, after all this time, so soon after their identification, and someone to actually take to trial.

I'm wondering if they retested evidence and instead of finding RH's profile, they found this guy's. Tatiana was found long after she died, but Tanya's torso was found very soon after she was killed, and in a container, with manchester and paper towels. The potential for transfer evidence being found would be good.

He is the father of Jackson's daughter, Tatiana Marie Dykes, whose remains were found along THE Ocean Parkway near Gilgo Beach in 2011. He has not been charged in the child's killing at this time, a source said.

Some sources are showing a photo, but they are behind a paywall. But looking at the photo, this old article from 2011 seems to be him. He was in the military.

Now, Tatiana’s genome shares half of Dykes’ DNA. If he is her father. Maybe with the increased granularity WGS provides, he can be linked to her murder. If there are rootless hairs on tatiana’s remains.
