I wonder if AP was into basketball too??? Did he go to the games? I really don't think this was his/their 1st crime. Its just the 1st time they got caught.

Now that this comes out about him targeting the teenager online, I really wonder about Celina Cass. She was a basketball player, lived fairly close by, & her body was found in the same river...

I found it really interesting from Surfie's link on the Prue background that they were calling HER exhusband and harassing him and than she filed for a restraining order against HIM. That is just so fishy! I bet they were trying to get money out of him or something.

Something just is not RIGHT about those people..

They both are a sad sacks of bones, imo, but she is coming into view as just pure evil at this point. They were both 'troubled', but put the two together and this is what we got. JMO It will be interesting to see a psych evaluation on them both.

Very very early in the Celina Cass case there was some info about her being on the computer talking to someone, and there was speculation that someone from the Internet may have lured her out that night.
Later, everything focused in on someone she knew.
Her stepdad and two neighbor friends were out on the porch that evening, but I am not sure until what time.
I do think that LE should at least consider AP since there are some similarities. Celina was found in shallow water, wrapped in a blanket and rumored to have been weighed down with cinder blocks. That sounds exactly like the way Melissa Jenkins was left, more or less.

Essentially, the poster says she lived with the Prue's for a time when she was a teenager and she details the state of the home, her treatment by them while she lived there, and the harassment and stalking they subjected her to after she decided to leave. Let's just say she does not paint them in a flattering light.

Melissa Jenkins' 2-year-old son Ty apparently witnessed his mother's strangulation and tried to tell police what happened by pulling on his neck, according to court documents released today.

The documents were released following the arraignment today of Allen Prue, 30, and his wife, Patricia Prue, 33, in the death of the well liked Vermont science teacher.

The St. Johnsbury couple are being charged with second-degree murder and improper disposal of a body, dumping Jenkins' naked body in a shallow river.

So sad that this child witnessed this and will remember it..

I also believe they do have evidence of premediation since this duo lured Melissa to them...additional charges may be forthcoming....

Interesting, to say the least.

I'm not convinced at this point, especially if she had used other Tracfones in the past, that she purchased it specifically to use with MJ a month in advance...but you could be right. It would be interesting to see all the activity on it's use since she acquired it and any crimes or 'unusual' things that happened in the community around those times. She had too much idol time on her hands and sick thinking. It will be interesting to find out just where AP was when she made that call. LE knows. They apparently didn't know that LE could track at Tracfone. These 'lightbulbs' definitely came with a working dimmer switch. What caged minds....unbelievable....

I know I'll be reminded of this case now everytime I eat pancakes because I use Maple Grove Farms maple syrup. Ugh....

I don't remember exactly but did it say ey went into the house? My guess having lived across the street from a towing plowing and mowing business is that they went to a shed or other storage space on the property where there equipment and cleaning materials would have been stored.

This is how I envisioned it also. The 1/8" checker board bruising could have been a bicycle chain he had laying around. Hate to say it, but I really think they tortured poor Melissa in all those hours they had available. imo God I hated typing that.

It's more than an hour and a half between St. Johnsbury and W. Stewartstown. So not that close but within reasonable driving distance.

There is a FB connection between AP's relative and an LN. WN is the stepfather of CC and he has a cousin with the name LN.

I guess it's possible but I've never heard of special consideration like this at an arraignment. At trial, yes, but only after counsel files a motion for such.

She already started painting herself at questioning when she had her little "medical emergency". Not that it got her anywhere; they just dragged her right back to the police station an hour later.

I wonder if AP's family will back up PP's story that she was at home that night and not with AP when Melissa was killed? If the family can possibly save one of them, will they? And do police have more on PP than just AP's accusations against her? PP claims she wasn't there and wasn't involved.

I hope Melissa told her friend exactly which of them called her and not just the "couple who plowed her driveway" as stated in news articles. And hopefully Melissa's son saw both of them (not that he can testify though). They need more evidence against PP than merely AP's word. If PP sticks to her story of innocence this could get tricky.
