SEATTLE - One of the three elderly North Seattle brothers found living in a home filled floor-to-ceiling with child has pleaded guilty, says the King County Prosecutor's Office.


The brother, Edwin Emery, made the guilty plea Friday to two counts of second-degree possession of child in King County Superior Court. He is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 22.

The third brother, Thomas, is scheduled to make a court appearance on Nov. 28 at the King County Courthouse.

Sentencing ranges from 3 to 9 months.... not enough!!

I'm so confused why LE / media is so quiet regarding the other offenses. Why have we not heard more?

Possessing used children's underwear goes WAY beyond possessing pedophilia images. They've ACTED / ENGAGED in pedophilia not just the fantasy of it... the evidence is undeniable.

Is LE building a case regarding the victims? Is this usual/? Why haven't we heard more?

I'm confused about this and outraged that I see a bond of only $500,000.

I would assume that would be the plan, to build the strongest case possible in the time he’s in jail to give them time. I agree a few months is not enough time. Personally I think death for any sexual offense involving a child is appropriate. However we have yet to hear of any conclusive evidence tying these freak shows to any of the child abductions in the area. While I absolutely think they did, will the evidence be there is the bigger question?

Their bro: Charles L. Emery (82): was sent for competency eval on 8/31. Held on $500,000 bail. 10/26 all charges dropped due to mental illness.

Maybe they will keep postponing it until he is dead so they won't have to deal with him and no justice will be served?
The brother Edwin who pleaded guilty to a smaller offense may not make it out of jail, depending on his sentence.

There are so many cases that could possibly be resolved if only the brothers would talk.
I wonder if they have run DNA tests on all the soiled underwear that they could possibly tie by family DNA into any case?
They could be just be dirty old men who enjoy and get their thrill through pictures if it weren't for the underwear.

Were there any other cases where a perp convicted of one crime or deceased before trial had computer or pictures full of that were later investigated and actually tied to other crimes? Maybe that's why there are so many open cases that will never be resolved?

Has there been any update regarding the 12/5 court appearance please? It just seems as though is is going to vanish with no real punishment handed out. Whilst I appreciate the age of perp, he has to be locked away for the rest of his life.

No evidence apparent that any abductions or murders took place either, I done believe it.
