On King 5 news video link below it was revealed that Andre-Anna's stepfather had did jail time in 2002 for assaulting her. That would have made her 7 years old. The clip also said they were not sure if he is her father or her step-father. I hope all of you can see the video it is very enlightening. I know you have to register with KING 5 to view their videos. The clip ends by saying the police have no person interest.

Update on search....

http://www.thenewstribune.com/news/local/story/5382184p-4866484c.html

SNIP
Investigators have received no tips that had led to the water search, but a search dog did track Adre-Anna’s scent to the water Saturday, Farrar said. Adre-Anna’s mother, Yvette Gervais, has also told investigators her daughter liked to play near the lake, he said.

On snow/ice days, kids are usually up early here and playing in the yard about the time school would have started. I wonder if there were any kids out along the walk that Adre-Anna would have taken on Friday morning on the way to school. It's interesting, in a five minute walk to school, and at the school, no one saw her.

That's why I think she never left the house to go to school that morning.

FBI Continues Lake Search For Missing Girl

POSTED: 9:56 am PST December 7, 2005
LAKEWOOD, Wash. -- An FBI dive team from California is continuing to search American Lake with sonar for a missing Lakewood girl.

Police Lt. Brett Farrar said the team is likely to be at the lake for the rest of the week. They thought they had found something Tuesday but it turned out to be a shopping cart.

Does anyone else think Adre-Anna looks really awful? She either looks like she is having a severe allergic reaction to something, or like she's been cryng for days in that picture.

Yeah, I was thinking that her face and eyes were awfully pinkish, red and puffy ... could be the quality of the photo though. I had puffy cheeks as a child, too. She does have a sad look in her eyes. It's hard to tell but that was the first thing I thought when I first saw her picture ... that her face and eyes were awfully pinkish-red. :(

Usually I get suspicious of the family right away. This time I know there is reason to be, yet I think the step dad appears to be working with the police.

I don't get mom staying with the guy after he assaulted her daughter.
Mom seems uh,a little medicated...

I am usually wrong though.:innocent:
The FBI is sure out in force. And her scent was traced to the dock? Was it a scent dog or cadaver dog? Died she walk or was she carried?

I agree but she is so beautiful. Kind of exotic looking. :(

she is a beauty ... a true one-of-a-kind.
I haven't seen the mother shed a tear, but I've only seen a fear interviews. I cry for this little girl. It truly bothers me. This one has really gotten to me and I'm not quite sure why but I am very sad for this little girl and I'm praying a lot for her.

:(

Her eyes look "cried out" to me. Like they're dry now from lack of anymore tears. Like little Logan Bowman, God rest his soul.

Me too Prayers. I can just see her shuffling off to school early fri morn with her head down, maybe kicking the snow...get to school- the doors are closed and maybe heading over to the park were she hears other kids playing.....

Just seem like her life has been so void of such childhood pleasures...something in those deep brown beautiful eyes seems to tell me she has been thru alot in her 10 yrs. Always outside the house playing alone according to neighbor.

So sad. Prayers for little Adre-Anna.

Katherine-
I tried to find information about Logan and only saw his posters online. Any sites with good background information on this little guy's disappearance?

This is the saddest story. It's just . . . so full of despair. Logan disappeared after being badly burned. His mother is in prison for his death, and charges against her boyfriend were dropped by the judge, citing "lack of evidence". It seems very clear to me, maybe just from how the articles were written, that the mother doesn't know what happened to little Logan, and Dennis Schmemmerhorn knows where he's buried.

(sorry, I didn't mean to be off-topic in the thread.)

Thank you. I wanted to know more after seeing his sad little face. :(
