SNIP

...The school is a couple of blocks away, with small houses and apartments lining the route; there are no wooded groves or narrow alleys to traverse. Police said Federici first told them he walked Adre'Anna part way down the block before turning back home, although they say elements of that account have changed in later retellings.

...In any event, Adre'Anna was not seen that morning at the school by staff members who were in the building despite the closure, Principal Tom Prentice said in a letter to parents. Nor was she spotted by the Fennell children, who were playing in the snow that morning across the street from the school, in front of the Tillicum Baptist Church rectory, their father, the Rev. Scott Fennell, said

I did not see a case discussion thread for this case so I started one.
I went through the info thread and tried to get most of the news links that were posted. I hope it helps.

I appreciate so much the work you went throught to list the links for Andre'Anna discussion thred.

Thanks to Idaho Mom for finding the Post Intelligencer article. I had gone to the Seattle Times and PI websites but had missed the Dec 12th story.

The PI without coming out and saying so, confirms some of our fears. That perhaps Adre'Anna never left home the morning she was reported missing.

Prayers for Adre-Anna.

after reading the latest account of what the fathers statement was and the fact that some of its content has varied from the first account of the story he told, I am beginning to think that its possible that she may have been accidently or intentionally killed by someone related to her or well known to her. imo that I feel a possibility of the fathers involvement and there was a story fabricated to make it seem she went to school on that day and the father not realizing that the schools were closed. that alone could be a clue in this case as to they should really start looking at. he was the last person to have seen her alive, no one else on the route to the school can verify that they even saw the two walking the route. imo that she probably never left the house on that morning. because of someone elses circumstances a beautyful little girl is missing. how sad this makes me to read of these types of cases, but so close to the holiday season it is especially heart breaking.

the above represents only my personal opinion based on the information provided.

I was just reading an online news article saying now that the parents sent the little girl to the school to see if it was open that day, either the story has changed or the earlier reporters mistook the information given by the father from the start, even if she had gone alone, it seems to me that others along that route would have seen her. why send your child out to check on school closings, was this a freak disappearence or something? seems it would have been more practical to have called the home of another school child and ask, or watch the morning news cast. either a family member has accidently harmed her or a preditor is stalking young children in her neighborhood. if so why would know one else notice anything strange or someone strange in the neighborhood? maybe there is more to this story that I am missing? the more time that goes by, sure looks grim to me.

KIRO News 7 has an article today Dec 13th which gives a little different information than the Dec 13th Tacoma News Tribune. This article indicates the FBI will use a different type of sonar.

The only thing new was a detective saying,"in the last few days neighborhood people have came forward with information(they had felt not important initially)". He encouraged any one in the neighborhood that saw or heard anything even though it might seem insignificant to call police.

We can only hope this might help law enforcement crack this case.

Prayers for Adre'Anna.

I think the transcript speaks for itself. The following is the actual words of the detective. Which puts an entirely differect spin on what the police actually think.
“I think there’s someone out in the public that knows something,” said Lawler. “We found out there’s actually a lot of people who’ve called something in, saying ‘I’ve known this for a week and I didn’t know it was important.’”

The following is the link to the entire story:

I just wonder what things the neighbors have known for a week? I can't help to think that this poor child could have been a victim of sexual molestation by her stepfather. either the dogs traced her steps there because those were fresh scent tracks or they could be scent tracks from another time she went to the lake shore to play? it seems odd to me that the mom and dad didn't notice throughout that day they sent her to school that other children were not in school because of weather and then wait till late afternoon to call police. I just wonder if neighbors in the area observed the parents moving something into there car that morning, maybe the childs body? if she was killed by one or both of them, then they may have removed her from the area, but with the weather being the way it was she probably wasn't taken far. anyone here on websleuths live in the area that could post a picture of the lake and general neighborhood? maybe she was asked to do something and disobeyed and the father lost his temper and beat her or something.

I hope they find her soon and that the neighbors have good information to help the investigation.

I really wish they would find her, I can't find any new articles on her is the town not concerned that a little girl is missing? This isn't even near a runaway sitiuation that people are so unconcerned about this is life and death of an innoncent.
