They just said on the news (kiro7) she has a history of drug problems. She had dinner with her son Monday night and he said he knew she was not well. She has gone missing before but this time she has not contacted anyone. They found some of her clothes( possibly )in the yard nearby.

Thank you, Miziree! An Amy Elizabeth Kennelly has had a few things going on in the court system, too. Looks minor, like a divorce proceeding and some municipal court stuff - maybe traffic violations, but can't tell. One superior court case does cite an order of protection, but it was a few years ago.

This is all assuming it's the same Amy Kennelly, of course

from what I understand......

amy's vehicle pulls into a driveway somewhere on Algonquin rd and bumps into the owner's garage.

amy's vehicle leaves the driveway and the driver abandons the car.

meanwhile, a witness to the bumping of the garage reports the accident to police -giving a a description of Amy's vehicle.

upon responding to the "bump and run" - police find Amy's abandoned car near the 11000 block of Algonquin rd.

--------------------

I wonder what the distance is from the accident site to the location of Amy's car.

I wonder if there is actually damage to the garage.

of course, I wonder who the witness is.

Yeah I saw those orders and it looks like the ex filed them but there is also current cases in the past year or so we don't have access to. I hope the news poster consider something else besides a serial killer. I think it's a domestic issue, jealousy over money, nice things maybe a new girlfriend and she might have had a bit to drink and went stalking/spying

I just want to point out also they said the garage she bumped into was her old house.

As per KIRO 7 News reporter Maria Guererro in comments on her Facebook post/story on Amy Kennelly: " So I asked if there's any link between this case and Mountlake Terrace (Cheryl DeBoer death) and police said no."
IMHO:

Respectfully, had law enforcement responded "yes, these two cases are connected," mass hysteria would ensue.

Presently, the only known commonalities between Cheryl DeBoer and Amy Kennelly - They're both women, relatively close in age, each of whom were classified as "missing", within a 23 day time span, in neighboring communities.

EDMONDS, Wash. —
Police and search crews suspended their search at about 9 p.m. Wednesday for a missing woman in Woodway, an upscale town just outside of Edmonds.

Family reported Amy Kennelly missing on Wednesday.

Search and rescue teams plan to be back Thursday morning in the area where she may have last been seen.

Matt Kennelly says his mom has taken off before , but not like this.

“This is different. No one's heard from her," he told KIRO 7.

He last saw his 48-year-old mother at dinner Monday evening and knew she was not well.

"She's had a history of drug abuse and that was pretty clear,” he said. “I'm used to the effects, kinda just like what to look for. And I noticed that coming to it."

Late on Monday, Kennelly says his mom came to a house along Algonquin Road where he used to live and bumped the garage door with her car.

"I think that spooked her," he said.

So if you run into a garage door at any of those homes on that road that takes effort. You have to drive into a nice paved deep driveway up to the house. That's not some random oooppps I ran off the road deal.

We had a strong wind storm yesterday and rain. I hope she is somewhere safe out of the weather. It has rained all day today and is in the 50's.

Following this one closely. Sounds to me that she was heavily intoxicated on something and took off on foot. She would have not been in her right mind. Maybe overdosed or injured and that's why she has not been found? Hope she did not fall in the water. Maybe one of the residents will have video surveillance. I don't think at this point that it was foul play. Praying for a good outcome!

That's what it sounds like to me, too.

So the homeowner whose garage she bumped is the witness who called the police. It's her old house, but it was sold, right? So she must know that the ex no longer lives there. If she was high, maybe she was trying to live out some weird revenge fantasy and perhaps was very disoriented.

I hadn't considered the windstorm. That area is so heavily wooded; she may have freaked out and hidden, or God forbid, a branch may have come down and hit her.

I think it would be very easy for someone to hide for quite awhile if they wanted. Huge wooded lots, outbuildings, etc. I just hope she didn't make her way west and go over the bluff.

Hawley said that Kennelly’s vehicle had pulled into a driveway in Woodway and bumped into the garage door of the residence. Police responding to that incident looked for the driver, but the vehicle’s driver was “nowhere to be found,” Hawley said.

Since her son was very open about her drug issues and the home she (allegedly) bumped was an old home of her son or ex, that might explain the delay in the info hitting the media.

The Kennelly name is prominent here on top of this happening in a small, elite area (Woodway is approx 900 pop. according to a current resident) so they probably didn't want it to go public if unnecessary. I'm hoping that instead of being hurt or worse, that she's possibly feeling embarrassed or scared and is hiding out. Hopefully we will hear of her being found & receiving some medical help.

If she was high, she might have run because she didn't want to tangle with the police. Lying low out of embarrassment or paranoia makes sense to me.

ETA: my sister just reminded me that she travels Algonquin Road every day. Am hoping she will pop in with info about the terrain.

ETA again: she did mention that Woodway is pitch black at night. The only lights are from houses, which are typically well off the road. With the area being so heavily wooded, the roadways are not illuminated by lights from residences.

Did anyone ever catch where she is living? I understand she has 4 kids and apparently she met one son for dinner the night she had the accident. I am wondering if the kids live with their dad. And this is COMPLETE speculation, but I wonder if Amy lives in, or hangs out at, any of the sketchy areas along Highway 99. Conceivably she could have made her way back there on foot from Woodway.

Amy is related to a friend of mine, so this case hits a bit close to home. I don't have any "special" information that hasn't already been shared here. She is the cousin of Josie Bissett, the actress and I know she has been sharing articles and search information on her facebook page.

while some want to try to link this to the Cheryl DeBoer case in Mountlake Terrace, I don't see any connection other than that they were both missing.
