EDMONDS, Wash.
Police and search crews suspended their search at about 9 p.m. Wednesday for a missing woman in Woodway, an upscale town just outside of Edmonds.
Family reported Amy Kennelly missing on Wednesday.
Search and rescue teams plan to be back Thursday morning in the area where she may have last been seen.
Matt Kennelly says his mom has taken off before , but not like this.
This is different. No one's heard from her," he told KIRO 7.
He last saw his 48-year-old mother at dinner Monday evening and knew she was not well.
"She's had a history of drug abuse and that was pretty clear, he said. I'm used to the effects, kinda just like what to look for. And I noticed that coming to it."
Late on Monday, Kennelly says his mom came to a house along Algonquin Road where he used to live and bumped the garage door with her car.
"I think that spooked her," he said.
