What about the Green River Killer? I think most or all of the murders he admitted to were from the 1980s but that doesn't mean there weren't more. He didn't always kill prostitutes: some were hitchhikers, some were girls just walking along the road that he offered rides to.

I thought the same thing but no, Ted Bundy was Incarcerated In Florida In 1979. In the 1980s, Angela's family turned over her dental records to Green River Killer task force, but she has since been ruled out as a possible victim.

Guy Rasmussen Is a suspect In her case. He's serving hard time for a 1996 homicide. He lived a few blocks from Meeker and went to the same high school In 1979 and he wrote letters to her.

At the bottom there is a reference to looking for someone from Marysville named Angie who seems to resemble Angela. Maybe it's the same person?

The FBI is offering up to $20,000 for information leading to an arrest or recovery in a 1979 missing person case out of Tacoma.

The FBI is working with other local law enforcement agencies in a special group called the South Sound Cold Case Working Group, which continues to search for answers in the case.

“The FBI hopes that this reward is an additional incentive for people to come forward with information. Even the smallest piece of information may contribute to solving that puzzle," said Kelly Smith, who oversees the FBI’s criminal investigations in Pierce County.

did LotsaLatte ever get a call back about the girl in post #5? That has got to be her, or a twin. I saw Unique1965's post that says it is not her, but it sure looks exactly like her. I don't often see resemblances that others do, but this one, like whoa - that's got to be her.

I just came across some information that there’s a mentioning of a name in this case, whom also is mentioned in the murdercase of Carla Wright (WA - WA - Carla Wright, 12, Tacoma, 7 Jan 1980). The same man is convicted in another case - the murder of Cynthia Ann Allinger 1996.
I saw a show called The Face of Evil featuring Cynthias case. I then googled the name of the convicted guy out of curiosity and not much came up, but a studie/slideshow from the Tacoma police CART where these informations above are mentioned. Somehow I cannot insert a link, but google “ offender watch as an investigative tool cart“ and this slideshow will come up.
Sometime in 2014 the convicted guy requested a new DNA testing in hopes to set him free. However I can not find anymore or recent information whether this guy is still in jail etc.

I pray this child will find her way home and that her loved one will find answers.

Sounds like it, and probably they are of Dutch, maybe German, origin.
