I don't think anything she allegedly did that morning (skipping carpool for bus when noticing her badge was gone, parking outside the garage before it was full, running back for the badge rather than leaving it) is at all unusual - it's a pattern likely followed by dozens of commuters every week. I'd have done all the same things. Without knowing her normal practices, it's hard to guess what any of it means.
What I wanted to add as we think of what others may have seen or not seen: Think of how rushed the morning commute is on a Monday morning and, as a result, how self-absorbed we all are. Yes, if someone was abducted inches from us and screaming we'd notice; in any other scenario, it could go undetected. There's certainly periods where an abduction could easily happen even during commuting hours there. Heck, someone could be abducted two steps off my front lawn at that hour and I might not notice because I'm shuttling myself and kids through breakfast and the morning routines to get them off to school and me to work. My guess is much of MLT might have similar mornings.
