Well, originally it was said in MSM that nothing was found in her car but a book, then later they release that blood was found in the car.

IMOO.

Iirc it was Caw who initially stated there was just a book found. Maybe the blood is minuscule and only noticed on further inspection. It's a possibility.

Again, the surveillance system shows what appears to be Cheryl's car around 7:00 am. it does not state Cheryl herself was SEEN. LE is being careful with its words, MOO.

As I understood it, another surveillance video had recorded her car heading West, but the previous video had shown her in person leaving the house.

I will come back with a link, but the DeBoer home has a surveillance system. MD was seen on camera, leaving the house at 6:50. Cheryl, a bit later. I don't remember the time, but link coming. :)

From the link:

A surveillance system at the DeBoer’s home shows her husband leaving the house around 6:50 a.m. Feb. 8, a few minutes before Cheryl. He arrived at this work in Mukilteo around 7:15 a.m.
I posted this last night. Steelman posted the same thing this morning.

Cheryl was not in the culvert when those texts were sent. She was seen leaving her home shortly after her husband at about 7am. This has been reported in msm. Link somewhere on previous pages.

I don't know why this misinformation keeps coming up?

anyone remember this case?
she was missing for weeks her dismembered body was found in trash bags weeks later.
she was alive all that time and her body only dumped days before it was found,
It was her co worker,

So we cant say when she was put in the culvert!

Police also found what was believed to be blood on the inside portion of the passenger side door, according to a Feb. 10 search warrant seeking phone records.

A surveillance system at the DeBoer’s home shows her husband leaving the house around 6:50 a.m. Feb. 8, a few minutes before Cheryl. He arrived at this work in Mukilteo around 7:15 a.m.

Another surveillance video at the intersection of 236th Street SW and 56th Avenue W showed what appeared to be Cheryl DeBoer’s vehicle passing at around 7 a.m. headed westbound.

Snipped from http://www.heraldnet.com/article/20160216/NEWS01/160219330

Indeed this is splitting hairs. This information is from a warrant to get phone records. So, probably not done by a police officer but a prosecuting attorney. They are going to state their evidence as strongly as possible without lying to the court.

"believed to be blood" - means to me that they're not sure and it is not a large quantity. Could have just been dried cranberry juice.

"surveillance system" - could be the neighbor's dog. The more I think about it, if it was video, I think they would state that.

"appeared to be Cheryl DeBoer's vehicle" - there was a tan car that went by.

I'm being overly cynical because I do believe the police timeline and I don't think the husband was involved. This was probably pretty early on and they now have additional evidence and test results.

One surveillance system was at the home. The other was on the street. That's the one that shows Cheryl's car.

Yes she might have been put in the culvert later but not before she was seen on video leaving her house (which is what I was replying to).

I will take a one hour break now :) My head is starting to hurt.

I think she was in someones car and when it got dark they drove past the culvert and
pushed her body out of the car. They did not stop to completely conceal her.
I think its a stranger!

That word tells me its more than a neighbor's dog
I am not certain that she is shown leaving, but her husband was... sounds like video/ camera to me

Show can mean cause to be seen but it can also mean allow to be perceived. Something that is shown is not necessarily seen.

What is your opinion of the term "surveillance system"? :)

A print out of whose code was entered & when can "show" when someone comes &/or goes, ours does. We don't have cameras, but every time a door opens my alarm makes a beeping noise & we can set ours a certain way that my dogs don't trigger the alarm or if my kids are home alone it can be set so they are still free to walk around.
My question would be if it is only a report, how can LE be sure it was actually that person who set the alarm? Anyone that knows your code can set it or deactivate it, kinda like the text messages, there is no 100% guarantee that the owner of the phone is the one who actually sent a text. There is no physical evidence, just circumstantial right?

The thoughts & opinions stated above are that, MY random thoughts & opinions.

I have no idea what is meant by that. I assume it would mean video surveillance but the article has been edited and that bothers me.

I really don't think a complete stranger did this to Cheryl. The situation feels too set up. So many little things were different for her that morning.

I think Pickard is more than capable of leading this investigation. I think he's being extremely strategic with how he speaks and what he releases. I believe he has a plan, and has been on to the perp for a little while.

I have a feeling the case will open up after Cheryl's celebration of life.

So we cant say when she was put in the culvert!

I alluded to that case way back in the beginning of this thread, thinking that possibly a similar scenario had played itself out with Cheryl. I'm still not so convinced it didn't............She could have been held somewhere and then put into that culvert the night before she was found, or any day in-between.

It was 6 full days from the time she vanished until she was found, and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance are completely bizarre and confusing as we are all aware. I personally believe she got out of her car and into someone else's, that's why nobody noticed anything. I surmised in the beginning that it was someone she knew that offered her a quick ride back to her house to get the badge. I guess we'll see..........or not.

Just thoughts,

No one could have known that on that day she would leave her badge home and have to text her friend about a later pick up
Her badge was found at home

If she did not send the text, it was someone close to her.
I really want to know if anyone saw her leave the house.
And did she decide to walk home to get the badge?
Did anyone see her?

If the walk home was so short, why drive to the parking spot at all? Why didn't she walk everyday?
Am I confused about where she normally parked and where she parked that day?

Which isn't at all uncommon for LE to do.
