Not only that but if you look, a lot of family has now locked heir social media down a little.

It seems like they are either preparing for something or just getting overwhelmed by helpful comments.

what could they possibly be preparing for more than theyve already gone through? im sure they feel weirded out that us sleuthers were looking at their page.

you cant really drive a car onto the trail. i posted a few theories earlier about how she couldve been attacked on the trail then ran to her car, or vice versa. or yes...dragged. he may not have even dragged her, he couldve just carried her.

I can't imagine that happening. I don't think she was attacked in the park.

If it is a domestic dispute and divorce in a neighboring county from years ago - it's not her. Wrong initial.

i dont know how you read my mind, but you totally did. im not sure what you mean by wrong initial, though.?

i can see her getting attacked in the park because of its history and what people are saying, but youre right i dont see someone carrying a body out of the park or from one car to another or even someone driving her car; theyre all risky. i was just saying its a possibility...even if its slight.

Middle initial in her name is different.

The domestic stuff found in the court system is not her. It was discussed before.

I didn't search it. (I wouldn't know how to search court documents.) It was discussed here before. But maybe you found something new?

Although, I have to say, I once worked for Intelius and I learned that women sometimes change their middle initial when they marry. (Keeping the maiden name as middle initial, or sometimes using their husband's name as middle initial.) We were advised not to dismiss a match only because the middle initial doesn't match.

My mother's changed her name like 10 times in the past 10 years. lol. all variations..including her middle name. where was it discussed? i dont want to repeat things that have already been talked about.

Oh I don't know where exactly. Probably thread 2? You could search thread 2 for "initial".

You always amaze me. You always have the right links at hand it seems. Do you bookmark all the links for a case?

Maybe we should have a media thread for this case. Makes it easier for everyone to find things.

Sometimes I bookmark. Sometimes it's by memory. This time I typed in Cheryl Diane Deboer obituary. I remembered that her middle name was Diane from reading the obituary previously and I figured her maiden name was Peterson, given the other info we had (her mom).
IMOO.

ETA:
And I will add, that I have a pretty good memory.
I am an Army Brat. If you throw out a year, I can tell you all about that year...where I lived, what school I attended, what happened during that time period. It all feels like yesterday. I loved my military life and I can recall many many events. Those times were markers in my life.
Since arriving here in Colorado, my life hasn't been that colorful in travels because once I got here, I stayed. But anyway, I think a person can train themselves to remember many things, particularly if something is of interest to that individual.

I have been playing around with Steelman's map and popping in a few routes that would jibe with the facts as we know them. To me this case could possibly hinge on the direction Cheryl's car was facing when it was captured by traffic cams at 236th St SW & 56th Ave W.

The police have said (and without reinterpreting their evasive use of English ;) ), that Cheryl left home a few minutes after her husband who left at 6:50. They then said that Cheryl's car was seen at 236th St SW & 56th Ave W at 7:00am. It is possible that Cheryl left fairly quickly after her husband and pulled over to park on the street side on 58th Ave W. Upon preparing to leave (or straight after exiting) the car she realizes her missing work badge, texts the carpool buddy and takes off again and is captured by the traffic cam on 236th Ave SW before 7:00. It is logical that she would travel on 236th Ave SW to get to and from her parking space. So the car could be recorded going in both directions.

If her car is only seen once on the footage, I think whatever happened, happened at the streetside parking after the exchange of texts and the incident no longer involved her vehicle. Because it is also logical that the quickest route for a perp between where Cheryl's car was found and the culvert is 236th Ave SW. If her vehicle is used in the crime and transported back, to me that would involve another two passes of the intersection at 236th St SW & 56th Ave W.

Here is Steelman's map that I have adulterated with my own route musings...No offense to its creator I hope :)

I'm playing catchup, so forgive me if this has been addressed by now (probably). But it was said that what appeared to be Cheryl's car was seen heading west at 236th and 56th at 7am.

it was talked about in the second thread. I cannot remember who posted it or how far into the thread it was. I will see if I can find it.

Yes, this came from:

"Another surveillance video at the intersection of 236th Street SW and 56th Avenue W showed what appeared to be Cheryl DeBoer’s vehicle passing at around 7 a.m. headed westbound."

I am assuming that she made a right onto 58th.

There is a woman that does match the name (including inital) who used to live in MLT, about 7 years older than CdB if I remember correctly from looking the info up back then. But since she's not a POI or anything I obviously didn't sleuth that any further.

I have been reading the 6 pages I missed today. Only could be here now and it is 5 past midnight here in Portugal.

I rest my case and I promise that until LE gives further information I will not discuss this case again. My head is spinning we have been round and around in circles and Cheryl's case is puzzling and awful. Don't know what to think and I wonder why has the police been so cagey?! I understand they can't say most of what they know(if they know) but in such a case so few and sparse information after almost two weeks?

I don't know what do we have to discuss more if each and every hypothesis seems so far fetched...

One thing is certain - Cheryl lost her life and she is surely dearly missed. How coud that happen to this private lady?!
