I know, I also said in the post "i suppose mental illness could happen to anyone". hell, i have anxiety and depression and thats a mental illness. i just hope she wasnt suffering from that and find it hard that she could keep such a thing from her family.

And that is why I replied YES, it can happen to anyone. Yes, was in response to what you said.

IMOO.

If on a PC - Shift + "print screen" and paste it into word, then you can mess with it.

Hi and thank you so much for your view on this article! It was so random, I was reading about the celebration of life that took place on Saturday since I had to miss it due to work ;( and out of no where this article appeared! My first thought was maybe that was some of the discussion people had at the service but then that seemed a bit inappropriate given the reason of the service! Then I went with what you said that it is implying maybe the person who could of done this is mentally ill and that is entirely possible! Mental illness has been put aside for far too long that now we are reaping the penalties of being blind and naive! If you go back in the last 5 years alone you will see that murders at random by people with mental health issues is becoming more common than death by misdiagnosis! Exaggerating a bit yes but I know you get my point ;)

As far as not knowing a family member is suffering in silence right under your nose, I too used to struggle with this same notion! In the last 4 years my husband and I have lost about 10 long time friends and family members to suicide! It really made me crazy how a normal, happy, laughing and living person could go from one extreme to another and I totally missed the warning signs! Then up until about 2 months ago I had a first hand look from my own eyes how totally real it is and my family didn't have a clue!! It was the most surreal experience of my life and now I am no longer ingnorant to how mental illness creeps up on the most happy person you know!! Up until very recently it has been a sad reality that if you are hearing voices or wanting to cut yourself (which I have also done) or pulling out your eyebrows for hours at a time (which I have also done) or any other symptom that goes with that disease- then you are just strange and treated like an alien or outcast! You suffer in silence for long enough wearing a mask to hide how much you are hurting and each day slipping further and further away into isolation with only the so called voices in your head and trust me making your self disappear just to stop the agony and pain becomes a welcome friend!! Thankfully my husband loved me enough to start to put the pieces together, he said all of a sudden he had to bust into my silence, hold on tight and make me get help! He saved my life by looking past what seemed to be in order to really see, I was lucky- my friend who had a seemingly great life one day and found hanging from a tree at our favorite hangout the next day wasn't so lucky! We have got to wake up in this world!

Yes exactly what I meant! I know of the family and I know a lot of her gf we all live and work in the same area, MLT, LYNNWOOD,EDMONDS is like one big city in itself and when you work for years at a place where all these people are always at - we never stop eating ;) - then you get to know everyone and all family members even things you never wanted to know lol like cheers, where everybody knows your name that's the best way to put it!

I've been reading, theorizing, and sympathizing with everyone affected by this tragedy. While we cannot undo what has been done, we shall move forward seeking justice for Cheryl, restoring peace of mind to our heavy hearts.

thank you for the insight. i really dont want to believe this was mental illness, as someone who suffers from it and who has seen that horrible treatment by others, i know how horrible it can feel to go on hurting. i just would rather not think Cheryl was hurting like that, because even though i dont know her, it still hurts to know she would be hurting for a long period of time. i am not discounting suicide, just....dont want to believe it, if that makes sense. i know its a possibility. i have a friend who committed suicide or so they say, but none of us saw the signs and none of us want to believe that, either. so i could see where her family is coming from, too.

I haven't heard. There's not a ton in Mukilteo - large school district, some grocery stores, health care providers, and some machine shops and similar businesses (Mukilteo borders Boeing, the largest employer in the area but Boeing itself isn't in Mukilteo so he must not be there).

Thank you MU42M. Oh... Boeing reminds me of plane's motors, of course, but also of Michele Anderson's :furious: father who worked for Boeing in WA all his life. Michele Anderson is a murderess who killed all her family (father, mother, brother, sister-in-law, a 5 yo niece and a 2 yo nephew) in Carnation WA because of hate, envy and greed... In 2014 Christmas Eve :'(

ETA - Sorry, I was wrong. The crime in Carnation hapened in 2007 Christmas Eve.

As a newbie poster, I have a few questions, and a couple of thoughts to share: Is there a location within these threads, in which lists of: 1) Solid, undisputable evidence, photographs, etc 2) Plausible theories; and 3) Random "what if" theories can/are maintained?

As we seek to identify the perp., the F.B.I's website https://www.fbi.gov/stats-services/publications/serial-murder contains valuable information re: profiling "spree" and "serial" murderers. They are clear in stating "Many serial killers hide in plain sight within their communities." A valuable reminder to keep our eyes wide open.

Be safe.

:/ that sounds dreadful. I've not heard of her but I'm now going to have to look Michele Anderson up. I 'had' to go read about Israel Keyes the other day too!

Oh and Debra Puglisi after someone brought her story up too. [emoji102]
