Did she carry a briefcase?
A lap top?
Take home work?

I joined this group, was never welcomed aboard by members, probably because I am still the only holdout that thinks 'suicide' is a theory in this case. Reminder JMO.

I will repeat myself here…She was BRILLIANT, as portrayed by her family members, she worked in the medical field, she would know that water changes the decomposition of a body. JMO

Scenario: A woman 53/54 years of age, menopausal, is tired of doing the dutiful thing all the time…never missing days of school or work. Just plain old tired of the daily grind. Hides the way she feel for a very long, long time. She is in so much pain, it is excruciating 'inside' and she just wants release. Doesn't want to cause issues for the family, but just wants to end it. Her thoughts are to find relief from pain we can't understand. Plans this out and yes, walks. If you love to hike, this walk is nothing, you are so done! JMO

:drumroll: Welcome Eclipsed

Thank goodness we got the answer to that one. I've asked several times, which direction the water was flowing. I was working under the understanding that the body was found on the east side, but it made more sense to me that the disposal site was actually on the west side and the body must traveled to the east because it would be easier to quickly dump a body on the west side with the passenger door hidden from the road. South on Cedar, right on 205th, pull over, pull CD out (2 feet) and drive on...2 minutes to the freeway. Stryker, why do they think the body was placed on the east side and moved west?

I am wondering if something of Cheryl's was found on the east side?

I am wondering if there was any other kind of evidence found on the east side.

With the current moving swiftly due to all the rains, maybe they somehow can figure out with x amount of water,
with the current moving x amount of speed, how far a body could move during whatever time period they are working with.

IMOO.

She was Found on the WEst side I have to correct that

So, I think if it was presumed that Cheryl was placed on the east side or has a presumed entry point of the east side and she was found on the west side, then there has to be some sort of evidence supporting why or how she traveled from the east to the west, imoo.

I don't know if a body would go thru that pipe and come out the other end.

It looks deep enough and it seems there is a current!

Here's the MLT sign with today's current. Lots of rainfall lately.

Another pic of the terrain, this from the right side of culvert looking east. It's literally unsteady & very overgrown from the time you leave the sidewalk. It's not a place anyone would or could take a walk. My husband was holding on to my hood from behind the whole time so I wouldn't fall in, & we stepped very cautiously. And we only went 10 feet back, tops.

Her body was found on the west side of the culvert. It is presumed the entry point was on the east end up current (near the MLT sign). There was a lot of rain the week we were searching for her so the current was pretty swift.

Bringing stryker57's post forward.

I don't know if a body would go thru that pipe and come out the other end.

But it isn't a pipe. The culvert opening is the same on the east side as the west.

I am on my phone, which doesn't display anyone's join date. Apologies to anyone I've offended by not extending a welcome.

Right! Its a cement Culvert, probably 6 ft. wide by 6 ft. tall with 2 feet of water running through it. A small boat could sail through there. BUT, they must have had evidence found on the east side, as Stryker seems convinced that the east was the entry point. I seriously would have thought the west side was the most prudent spot to dump a body quickly.

This is simply to show the depth and current.

This is down the street looking towards the area of the culvert. The water angles from the culvert to run adjacent to the road. The current is just as swift from this far down.

There is also a pipe on the west side culvert pic, so I thought you meant how could she have come through that pipe, :) so I wanted to say no, the culvert opening is the same on the east and west.
