At the age of 53, I would hope that Cheryl's biggest problem was menopause, not dementia. Dementia would come later, if at all. Given Cheryl's mothers' appearance at the Press Conference and online, she does not appear to be suffering signs of dementia. Dementia can be both inherited and/or environmental.
I'm ready to rule out
blond moment where Cheryl walked into a waste deep cold creek with a plastic bag over her head.
Where is the injured animal? Either Cheryl or a stranger put animal blood on the passenger seat of her car. If Cheryl did it, where is the animal? If it was old blood, she was losing it for some reason and I would expect more from an autopsy. If someone else did it, this is a bad murder.
Suicide requires that she put animal blood on the floorboard of the passenger seat. That's not normal. The autopsy should be able to identify severe deterioration of her mental abilities if that happened. Evidence analysis can identify whether the animal blood was fresh, or old.
I believe it was Cheryl's mother who commented that there were no drugs in Cheryl's system.
" DeBoer's mother, Lenore Peterson, commented on a Facebook page in memorandum of DeBoer about the Mountlake Terrace police's recent statement.
"As confusing as the news reports are, our family is unwilling to discontinue the investigation surrounding Cheryl's death. It is inconceivable that Cheryl would take meat out of the freezer for dinner, text the driver of her carpool that she would be at the park and ride in 10 minutes, park her car, walk 1 1/2 miles, crawl through brambles and mud, put a plastic bag over her head and lie face down in a cold shallow creek to end her life.
There is no evidence of drugs in her body, nor evidence from family or co-workers of depression or other reasons for her to even consider suicide. The lack of understandable evidence is not a reason to assume this is suicide. If Cheryl would have ever considered this, she could have thought of many easier ways to accomplish the act. I'm sorry, but Cheryl did not take her own life!! Someone out there knows something. Please contact the MLT police!!!"
