Why am I not surprised. She will soon star in her own reality show.
I think this would depend on whether or not she retains custody of her biological son. I can see a show happening if she loses custody, but how much more can she mortify her own child? I hope if she retains custody she goes away quietly. It would be in her son's best interest for her to stop the freak show.

Wonder if RD is thinking about flying out to SC? I think she should have 2nd thoughts since people will probably recognize her. All colors of people who don't want her speaking for them.
I truly hope she doesn't try to insert her "special" self into this horrible tragedy!
Honestly, I think the boys who have to endure her lies daily are the ones she has hurt the most. Their self identity has had to be challenged over this whole fiasco at least at some point.

If you read the article at the second link, not even the article's author is sure THE PAINTED BIRD was plagiarized. That Kozinski lied about his childhood seems certain. But broadly calling Kozinski a "plagiarist" is to repeat claims the essayist can't confirm.
What's interesting to me about the article is that the autobiographical lie is considered a worse sin than any claim of artistic theft. Perhaps that's because the autobiographical lie is what can be categorically proven.
Or perhaps it says something about the Dolezal case: stealing is bad, but inauthenticity is a greater sin.
Rachel was honored earlier this year by the local Catalyst Magazine as one of Spokane's female business leaders.

The birth of my youngest son is memorialized in 94 hours of labor, and I am proud of his creativity and imagination as well as his perseverance through some tough years of bullying at school.
She was in labour for four day! My, my ... what a little trooper. Is there a doctor in the land who would stand by and let that happen? I don't think so.
Just saying...who really cares about any of this? WHO CARES?
Ask yourself why it is that as a nation we have to swarm in on someone who makes a mistake and just POUND them into the ground.
She lied.
She lost her job.
She's been publicly humiliated.
Her own parents went on national tv and called her out even though from all reports their own household is a den of chaos and anger.
Don't you all have anything better to do than to virtually STONE this woman? Let her identify with who ever she wants.
Spend your energy feeding kids who go hungry all summer long.
Spend your energy visiting some old people who don't get any visitors.
Spend your energy doing ANYTHING ELSE but absolutely slaying someone on the public guillotine of opinion.
As a nation we can do better. As a people we can do better.
Sorry. I think denouncing one's parents, convincing one's brother that he was abused, terrifying one's young son and entire community with repeated, false hate crime allegations, harassing people at one's job, lying on official government documents, overstepping one's authority under the auspices of government, suing a University for discrimination that never happened, making false allegations of child abuse and domestic violence against one's ex to keep him from custody of his kid, to be more than a "mistake".
And I can get all riled up about a dangerous fraud like that and still take care of my family, work, volunteer at Legal Aid and my church and get involved in various kinds of political activism by organizing, campaigning and marching. (Of course not all at the exact same time!)
