Today marks one year since Ed and his plane disappeared. There is no new information,that Im aware of. I spoke to my folks,and they too have Ed on their minds today. Its hard to believe its been a year.
Claire has contributed funds,in Eds name,to a "Water Ranch" being built for the children and families in Tonasket. The towns swimming pool was closed down last year,so this will be a wonderful place for the lil ones to play and cool off in the heat.

TONASKET, Wash. — Claire Jeffko doesn’t know what made her think of it, but when a friend bent down to pick something up while they were walking her dogs at a Tonasket park on April 1, the words just came out.

Tomnod.com satellite software was used to help find the wreckage in the Idaho wilderness this past January:Idaho Search & Rescue

When a light airplane with a crew of five went missing over the Idaho wilderness, the Tomnod crowd rallied to search satellite images for signs of the crash. With the help of satellite intel, rescue teams found the wreckage on Friday Jan 10 2014 near a ridge a short distance from Johnson Creek Airport.

Has tomnod been used to help find Ed? Maybe worth a try?

Just finished reading about the missing Pilot Ed Jeffko and his hand built white plane. For those who have some time on their hands Google Earth has been updated(7/2013) to show the terrain in the area Mr. Jeffko presumably went down(7/23/2012) and take a scan over the area. You never know....
