One of the two men who was reported missing from the Marblemount area earlier this month has been located in Ocean Shores, the Skagit County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.

Neither the 57-year-old man nor a 32-year-old male acquaintance of his had been seen since Jan. 3, when the two were apparently involved in a fight, the sheriff’s office said. The 32-year-old male, Edgar Robinette, was reported missing on Jan. 6. He is still missing.

Detectives looking for a missing Marblemount man found blood in the home and car of a neighbor who reportedly fought with him.

Edgar Robinette was reported missing Jan. 6. The 32-year-old was last seen Jan. 3 at the home of 57-year-old Steven Frederick Gest where the men had been drinking.

The Skagit Valley Herald reported Gest was arrested Jan. 14 and is held on $750,000 bail for investigation of assault and manslaughter.

I haven't found any further news about Jimmy's case, other than a friend of the family complaining on FB in March that LE was doing nothing to find him. He was added to NamUs last week:

Marblemount man still missing; subject in jail. A Marblemount man is in jail on suspicion of involvement in the disappearance of a second Marblemount man, Edgar James “Jimmy” Robinette, 32. Steven Frederick Gest, 57, is being held on a magistrate’s warrant while the investigation into Robinette’s disappearance continues. Gest is charged with first-degree manslaughter and second-degree assault with a deadly weapon.

Human remains found earlier this month near Cascade River Park east of Mount Vernon have been confirmed as those of a Marblemount man missing since 2014.
