Dear Websleuths Members,

I want to personally thank you for keep this thread and the other "crimes in the news" threads up to date.

For me, working on my computer all day, it is so much easier to come here and get an update than it is turning on the news and waiting to try and catch the latest.

Thank you very very much.

Tricia

I just heard on the radio that the public is being asked to put a blue light in their window to honor the fallen police officers.

It would be nice if people would do it everywhere. Don't know if there are enough blue light bulbs to go around. Thank goodness it's the holidays, hopefully more blue light bulbs than normal on store shelves.

Just heard on the radio that they are in the Ravenna neighborhood right now... Broadway and 16th or 15th? The reporter over heard "significant amount of blood" in the park. This link below shows pictures of the search and you can follow what's going on.

A "founded" child abuse conclusion can lead to a child being placed in custody or with relatives, but CPS instead referred the victim and Nicole Smith, who is Clemmon's wife, to counseling. "As far as we can tell, it looks like they were accessing the services we offered," said Hill. "And (Clemmons) was not in the home. He was in jail by then."

My question is when MC got out of jail, six or so days ago, didn't he go back home ? Did CPS and the court make sure the same child was not around him during that period of time ?

Searchfortruth--I, too, found that highly unusual. The reports I read said that the child is 12. I understand that we don't know where this child lived/lives but I cannot, in my wildest imagination, understand why they would just refer Clemmons (who has an extensive record) to counseling. IIRC, a jury trial on this issue was postponed until early January. I'll check.

In the meantime, where in the heck is the child?

Does anyone know where the post is that includes the court schedule for Clemmons? I know someone posted it but I can't seem to find it. IIRC, he had just had a jury trial postponed or canceled and another was scheduled for the first half of January..maybe January 11th?? I remember the list of hearing dates, etc. was lengthy.

Help, please.

I find it very interesting that Clemmons had a psych eval on 10/21 and was found competent to stand trial. With all the info we've been reading about delusions, grandiosity, and prophecies, isn't it a bit difficult to believe that he actually was found competent? Do you think the doctor saw through an "act"?

FWIW, I think this man is using some form of means to control a group of people. He just can't be managing all this himself. Maybe I've been spending too much time reading about Jeffrey Lundgren lately.

Hard to believe multiple LE officers need to be assigned to a 'protest rally' now. Could it not have been postponed for another day out of respect to LE?
