There are still viable leads as to Maurice Clemmons' whereabouts. Most of the tips are coming out of the north.

There are no valid tips outside of Washington
, Puyallup police Lt. Dave McDonald said. Investigators have followed more than 100 physical leads so far. Many, many more tips have come in.

There's been speculation that Clemmons worked at or was associated with a car wash across the street from the coffee store.

just saw this tweet from a reporter - FWIW

Tacoma police confirm Maurice Clemens's family helped get him to Seattle, and that he is shot in the stomach
Thanks! I was just now trying to catch up on the news but came here first as a "shortcut". If he's shot in the stomach, he'd better get medical treatment or he could die. On second thought, scratch that. ;) MOO

Seriously that could be a life-threatening injury unless there is someone in the family who could treat the wound, and I wouldn't think there is. MOO

Clemmons then returned to prison for a July 13, 2001 conviction for robbery in Ouachita County, for which he received a 10-year sentence. He was paroled March 18, 2004.

Tyler said Clemmons wouldn't fully discharge his paroled sentence until Sept. 19, 2021.

I think this is going to be very similar to the Jaycee Dugard case. This guy should have never been out of prison once he broke his parole. There never should have been a bail.

It might be a good night to remind our loved ones and our children that if someone ever identifies himself/herself as Jesus or the Messiah or the Chosen One and asks us to dance naked around him/her and rapes young children and kills human beings or animals....it is best to run away as fast as you can.

Nothing good can come from these behaviors and has nothing whatsoever to do with real love and humanity.

I have been waiting all day listening to the scanner hoping to hear a cheer or whatever they use when they catch this suspect, dead or alive, no matter.

Clips from:

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2010389064_webclemency01m.html

"It would be the furthest thing from my mind that he would go out and kill four police officers, if in fact he did," Humphrey said. "Certainly if that's true, I would much rather that he'd stayed in prison... my heart goes out to the officers' families."

"His release was unanimously approved by the parole board."

"Humphrey said Monday he remembers Clemmons and believed he was genuinely remorseful and wanted to change."
Ain't it amazing how many of these convicted felons are "remorseful and wanting to change" when they are coming up for parole?
As I recall Phillip Garrido claimed he was a "changed man" too.
