I agree.

I think it's important to remind myself that the majority of the blame lies squarely on the shoulders of the man who pulled the trigger, and shot down four police officers in cold blood.

Somehow I doubt that years ago, Huckabee had any idea something like this would ever happen.

Before I order Huckabee's head on a platter, I need to step back and consider that Huckabee probably thought he was giving a young man a second chance at a future. A young man who committed his initial crimes at a very young age.

I would imagine Huckabee is having a hard enough time sleeping tonight.
That decision he made all those years ago may haunt Huckabee for the rest of his life. All because he gave a young man a second chance.

I just want to say..I think it's important for people to remember that Huckabee didn't commit these crimes. If police have the correct person of interest, then Maurice Clemmons committed these crimes and therefore this is no one but Maurice Clemmons fault.

If we're going to start blaming Huckabee, then we also may want to begin blaming the judge who set bail when he was charged with second degree rape of a child and aggravated assault on a police officer. We can also blame the person who put up the bail, we can blame his parents for not keeping a better eye on him when he was 17 and committed armed robbery..but all of that is pointless right now. This is not a blame game.

Huckabee, nor anyone else, committed these crimes except Maurice Clemmons (assuming the police have the correct person of interest).

Four police officers are dead tonight because of the gunmen. The blame lies solely on him, and his unthinkable, disgusting, and downright horrible actions.

I think this will haunt him. He granted clemency far too much and this is the second time that something high profile has been linked to that. The first involved a cousin of Clinton who got out under Huckabee and went on to kill someone. Huckabee supposedly had influenced the parole board but denied the actual clemency.

But you are right smart blonde, I have to place blame on the killer. I don't even understand how he got out last week much less years ago.

Clemmons' sister, Latanya Clemmons, said tonight that she was driving to the Leschi area to try to find out what is happening.

She said their aunt lives at the home where police have responded.

I agree........I can't say that I wouldn't have given this guy a second chance years ago considering his age. He was in for armed robbery........not murder or child rape at the time.

Listening to Northwest Cable News here in Portland it is not very up to date at this time of night. But they did say the police cars are not undercover by any means. They are all parked right out in front of this house, sitting there just waiting for what has been over 3 hours now.

I'm going to go to bed and I always watch TV to go to sleep. If they have a spot on the case and I learn anything new I'll come post it. xox

If he is in that house, what a piece of chicken you know what he is to not face the music and come on outside after all the carnage he created today! I worry who else is in the house. It is his Aunt's, so maybe no buddies of the same ILK are there, for which I am afraid of. And he is injured. I just wonder what is taking so long?
