I had missed this info about the gun, although Kimster did inform of the U of W alert...

"He is armed and he is wounded," added Troyer. "We want to make everybody aware that he may be in public somewhere."

Meanwhile, University of washington officials issued an email alert to students and staff Monday morning saying Lakewood shooting suspect may be in the University area and that police were responding.

And FYI it's about 100 miles to the Canadian border. So if he were to go there and turn himself in; he'd receive treatment and get the death penalty taken off the table. Gee, life is what he was facing BEFORE he did this.......d@mn.

Have they ever said if the person who went to a Seattle-area emergency room yesterday with a wound (they were not sure of what type) but then left before a surgeon or LE arrived, is suspected to have been Clemmons?

I have not heard them update that information. The hospital they were talking about was in Tacoma though.

I haven't heard an update on that either. I thought it was St. Joseph's, in Tacoma ?

He would need a boat, to get to Victoria or the southern Gulf Islands from Seattle. Otherwise, drive hours up through Washington state to cross border by land.

I would think LE would have immediately notified Canadian authorities at the border after the shootings. That's probably a standard operating procedure "be on the lookout" in a case like this.

I'm pretty sure it was St. Joseph's; just asked about "Seattle-area" because I couldn't remember exactly. That's a pretty compelling report as, it seems, it probably was Clemmons---having left before treatment for fear LE would be notified and picking up the vibes that the law was coming.

Supposedly the abdomen.

I am so glad to hear he is gut shot. He has to be in a lot of pain and I hope he is constantly losing blood. Let him slowly bleed to death.

If he wasn't in that home then I think there is someone that is helping him. I am even wondering if the aunt knew he wasn't there anymore but let LE waste time going in to see.

No telling what weapon he has now. Somehow I don't think he just had one handgun.

imo

I can't believe he wasn't in that home. I thought for sure when I woke up this morning LE would have him.

Does anyone know if the presser will be streaming live anywhere?

I'm saddened to hear it and locked my door this morning because of it. I even had dreams they got him last night, but no... :(

I hear presser at 10:00 a.m., and I'm sure they will be live streaming at KING 5, KIRO 7, KOMO 4, NW Cable News, and maybe FOX 13.

That's good. It seems the police are putting a huge effort into this (and they absolutely should be). I give all the cops involved a huge pat on the back.

They need to find this guy..

Any medical people here?
How long can he live like that without medical help?
He may be unconscience or dead in 24 hours???
Just wondering what person who is helping him will do now??

It is bothersome that police believe he went to or was at the aunt's house and it is so close to water. Scanner indicates they are really checking marinas. Sure hope he did not has access to a boat and get to one on the San Juan islands. There are so many properties with docks that are vacation homes, not regularly occupied. LE might not find him for quite some time.
