Well at least we don't have to feed him the rest of his worthless life...

One down, one to go....there's still one on the loose in Texas.

I knew this was going to be the end results. He had told already that he wanted to kill them all so he sure was never coming out and surrendering.

I am glad for the people in that area of the state. Maybe they can feel somewhat safe again. I think it will leave LE on edge for awhile.

While this is one monster gone we all can be assured that most likely right now another is plotting to do grave harm. These mass killings have escalated this year alone.

May it give the officers' families and the police some peace knowing he can never hurt anyone again.

I hope they throw the book at the ones who helped him.

I guess this was the type of ending we expected. Now to punish all those who helped him.

I wonder why the police never reported he had one of the cops guns? WTH he had a getaway driver?

I saw that. So there WAS a second person or accomplice at the murder scene.

Yeah it seems the report of two men was accurate at the first. I can not think of a reason that was kept hidden.

I am beyond shocked that people helped him. Hope they get every single one of them, prosecute them, and sentence them SEVERELY.

I woke up this morning and this news was the first thing I saw on my homepage.
so glad he never got to wound or kill someone else!
He got better than he deserved. Hope it was painful and he remembered how he
murdered 4 innocent people!
Now put his friends and relatives in jail for helping him........
they probably had to supply him with drugs for pain. (drug dealers?)

The trials for the people that helped him will be interesting. I want to hear what drove them to do it.

I'll never understand how these people could have helped this guy. This wasn't a darn parking ticket! It was MURDER X 4!

Four other people were arrested for allegedly helping the suspect elude authorities during a massive two-day manhunt.

............................snip..................
"We expect to have maybe six or seven people in custody by the day's end," said Ed Troyer, a spokesman for the Pierce County sheriff. "Some are friends, some are acquaintances, some are partners in crime, some are relatives. Now they're all partners in crime."

Troyer didn't immediately give the names of the four people already arrested on suspicion of rendering criminal assistance. On Monday, officers detained a sister of Clemmons who they think treated the suspect's gunshot wound.

"We believe she drove him up to Seattle and bandaged him up," Troyer said.

Can these people be charged for any felony he commited after they helped him?

  • #678
I'm not sure if they could be held responsible for whatever he did AFTER the initial crime. But I believe they are already facing some serious charges from aiding and abetting this guy in his escape. Heck, one guy was the get-a-way driver! He's REALLY in trouble.

A few minutes ago an officer on FOX said the people who helped him were not up-standing citizens. This was their culture, ie crime.

I am glad that it's over. The familiy and friends who helped him, hopefully, will pay in ways he will not (jail/prison time). I am so relieved that he didn't end up taking more innocent lives along with him.
