Police are looking for a man who has been missing since Sept. 17.

George Calvo, 52, was last seen dropping off a family member in Lynnwood. He never returned to his Olympia home.

No one has heard from him since, “which is very unusual,” according to the Lynnwood Police Department.

Calvo is bald, has brown eyes, stands 5-foot-7 and weighs 175 pounds. He was driving a blue 2005 Toyota Corolla.

Tips can be directed to Lynnwood detective Sgt. Doug Teachworth at 425-670-5616 or [email protected].

That’s not the same person imo. All missing person sites and LE still show him missing.

It's true, he does still show missing hmmm ... It was his Evergreen College classmates/friends' posts about him missing, with the link to his obit, which matched his age and location. I'll keep looking for clearer info.

Hmmm, I’m in Lynnwood and hadn’t heard about this fellow. I’ll have to dig around for more details about location etc.

ETA I think the obit linked above is his. So many details match.

looks to be one and the same to me - those eyes... living at a sober house, very sad for those who knew and loved him... May those you helped, and those you touched, honor you in healthy ways...

noted that his brother died in 1998... their poor father... burying two.

On the obit links above, what I see is His name only on the first link.

On the second link it’s a b/w picture of a different man.

Am I looking at it wrong?

The picture is for sure confusing, however i think it is just the usage of a very old one for the obituary. When comparing the names on the obit and the names you can find on fb as searching for him (e.g. his sister and from there you can find the brothers) it is clearly the same person.

Considered deceased
