From what I've heard once your released from prison there is no more record of it in the dept of corrections at least here in Cali

In Ohio, there is a public offender search for people on parole and people in prison throughout the state .
Of course you could do your own research to see if someone has been in prison or not.
Also, could he have potentially requested for judicial release ?

Maybe if it was some high profile case but they can't give out someone's CDC number if they've been released and no longer in the custody of the prison unless they broke parole and have to go back.

We must do things differently in Ohio. Lol
I work for the court , so i have access to more info than the public.
However, if you know the county that sentenced him to prison, you can search under that county's clerk of courts site and read the docket entries for his case number(s)- it would publicly show his prison term, date he was sentenced, etc
Obviously , criminal records can be looked up through various tools that LE and the court has access to....

This is so scary... it is so frightning to think that these sub-human beings live amongst us and our children, mix with us and even socialise with us if it is the case!

We are used to see murderers faces that give us the crepes but look at this 'man'! He could be our neighbour next door, our cousin, our shopkeeper, a lawyer, a firefighter, a doctor, a teacher!

Look into his nice smile and his like 'pure' and clear light blue eyes! This face would deceive me completly! The only think I see slightly off are the eyes perhaps a bit too open, but it could be just an expression of surprise or like he was being 'nuts' or kidding when the picture was taken...

I am so sorry for beautiful Ingrid, mother of three lovely girls, nurse, pretty woman whose only 'crime' was to want to socialise, to be friend or to date another person... I dread to think what could he have done to her girls if he had the oportunity.

We have only and only one oportunity to live! How is it possible that some waste it being killers instead of BEING happy while poor others like it can happen to any of us, have life cut by the hands of the former, which is like a 'spell' and a heartbreak forever over a whole family?!

Yes a horrible way to live....the fact that those closest to him didn't take him in says something to me and I don't blame them one bit.
The ex is really lucky that he valued those 2 nights at her place enough to keep her around.

One reason I see him as a possible serial killer is because of this. They won't do the crime that "close to home" because suspicions would lead directly to them. So, quick dating meetups with his "type," establish a bit of trust. Then kill. I'll be surprised if he isn't tied to other cases. I think his "I'm not a normal person" is this (possible serial killer). It's where he gets his feeling of being superior since he's such a loser in real life. There. Armchair psychologist at work here.... ha.

Seems like that should have been done a week ago.

It is possible it was done. I have a feeling they are attempting to rule out an accomplice but JMO.

Random thought: I love (not really) how the latest reports say that this new discovery of body parts "may" be linked to Ingrid's case.

I know they have to be careful of what they say but really, what else would it be linked to? Do people in that area routinely discover body parts in their trash?

I'm not making light of the situation, just making light of the media. I feel so bad for everyone who loved Ingrid, especially her children. :crying:

If he could cut up one person, it seems like he's capable of doing the same thing to somebody else. Horrible to contemplate.

Beesknees wow. I think he looks insane in that photo. In some others though, he does look totally normal. I think the advantage these people have is that we apply/project our own normal psyches onto them. We just assume others are as normal as we are. These types (narcissists, psychos, or whatever term you want to use for them...) know how to look and act to fit in. It's scary. But if anybody ever looked at me like he is looking in that photo, I'd get shivers up my spine and try to remember where I put the hammer. :)

I keep going back to his statement, 'I'm not a normal person.' It's rare insight for a narcissist. It's probably the only thing he's said that isn't a lie.

Friend of the family was in CA prison 5 years. His mom needed some medical records 4 months after release. She spoke to records and she said once released all records are transferred out to state of Sacramento. From there end its like he never was there. She never got the records.

Sacramento is the capitol of the state of California. All that means is that they transferred the records from whatever local/regional prison he was in to the central office. So yeah, the unit he was in doesn't know about him any more, but the state still has the records.

I have no idea how this guy is going to get a fair trial anywhere in the US. It disgusts me to think he could actually walk away from all of this.

I think it's a hidden brag. Which fits the personality. He believes he is special. Superior.

He could get a fair trial in MA. There hasn't been word one about the case in the Boston area media. If not for WS I wouldn't even know about it.

Because we pay attention to these things, we way overestimate how much the average person has heard...

Well it's been all over the news here in Dallas.

Great post!

Dean Koonze "From The Corner of His Eye",actually takes you inside the psychotic antagonists egomanical thoughts about himself. Koonze book has never left me;I shutter when I think of John Charlton cloaking himself in a benign & appealing wrapping all the while stalking innocents like Ingrid.

Oh,back to my point about the Dean Koonze book;I got chills when I read the the palpable enjoyment of the antagonist when he drops the mask & you experience the victims horror & surprise! His victim's look of shock is as close a description as you will get of peering into the actual face of the devil.

I think it's a hidden brag. Which fits the personality. He believes he is special. Superior.

He prides himself "in not being ordinary."

Thanks to all who keep this fast moving thread updated.

From one Armchair to the other on this end - you make a lot of sense to me. I tend to think he's harmed more out there too but the only thing that makes me doubt is that he is isn't too discreet. He offered his real name and tied his cell phone to his Facebook account. Ingrid's sister was able to track him down by his cell phone and he used his real name when he could have easily given a phoney one. I would think he would have gotten caught way before this with his careless actions unless he was tired of the game and wanted to be caught this time. Even the Mariners plans....he could have waited until they didn't have a date night and show up on one of the nights she didn't have the kids. Those things all make me tend to believe he had violent rage issues and this happened to be the first time it was fatal...but on the other hand the other stuff seems on point with serial killers.

**off topic** By the way I love Boston and if I were to ever move that is where I would land. Love the history and people there.
