Okay, let me see if I have this:

Brent Luyster (BL) got a ride from his friend Thompson (who most recently posted BL'S bail) from a house in Vancouver where BL was hanging out/whatever with his girlfriend, Sibley, and their toddler, to a house in Woodlands where Lamar and his girlfriend Knight, lived. A woman named Leigh was there, as well as BL's 12 year old son.

Sibley showed up later in and SUV with the toddler, who was asleep in the vehicle.

At some point BL shot and killed Lamar, Knight and Thompson and wounded Leigh when she ran to the front of the house after hearing gunshots.

Leigh was unconscious for some time and when she awoke, everyone that wasn't dead was gone and she drove to a gas station for help.

BL is a Skin Head and has committed racially motivated crimes in the past but all the latest murder victims are white.

Probably nothing scares me more than racists in the woods.

Any motive yet?

Luyster’s hearing postponed to November 8

The attorney for a man potentially facing the death penalty in a Woodland triple homicide said there may be a conflict of interest with the Clark County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Brent Luyster’s capital defense attorney, Bob Yoseph, on Wednesday raised several issues during his client’s scheduled arraignment in Clark County Superior Court. He requested, for a second time, that his client be formally charged at a later date.

Additionally, he voiced concerns over a deputy prosecutor who represented Luyster several years ago, before joining the prosecutor’s office.

Yoseph said he learned that the deputy prosecutor discussed the old case with others in the prosecutor’s office.

Sheriff’s office detective on leave following misconduct allegations

The detective - Deputy Kevin Harper - has been a detective in Clark County for almost 20 years.

A longtime major crimes detective with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office is on administrative leave following allegations of misconduct.

Sheriff Chuck Atkins has requested that Washington State Patrol’s Criminal Investigations Division investigate the allegations.

Harper is the lead investigator for numerous crimes charged in Clark County Superior Court, including the triple homicide suspect Brent Ward Luyster.

Scott Jackson, Chief Deputy at the Clark County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, said that he didn’t have enough information on the allegations to know if they would affect any of Harper’s current or previous cases.

Girlfriend of suspect in triple murder sentenced

The woman who drove off with a man suspected of killing three people in July was sentenced to a year of community custody Friday, and she may testify in the ongoing triple-murder case.

Andrea Sibley, 27, pleaded guilty Sept. 16 to first-degree rendering criminal assistance. She was accused of picking up and driving away with her boyfriend, Brent Luyster, after he allegedly shot four people July 15 at a rural home southeast of Woodland.

White supremacy bares its ugly heart
Death of Vancouver teen, Woodland killings shine light on increasingly violent movement

However, it doesn’t take many people to cause “a lot of mayhem or misery,” Pitcavage added. “You don’t need a huge group for a hate crime to occur … or for a minority population to be terrorized.”

For example, Pitcavage said, the ADL has tracked Brent Luyster, the man accused in the Woodland triple homicide, for more than 10 years for hate crimes.

Though Luyster, a self-identified skinhead, doesn’t appear to be part of a formal white supremacy organization, he was involved in the 2001 beating of a black man in Vancouver’s Rosemere neighborhood, now called Rose Village. In March 2013, he and others threatened to kill an interracial couple cuddling at Vancouver’s QuarterDeck Bar.

Luyster appearances on the Four Decades of Hate timeline:

- July 16, 2001 — Brent Ward Luyster, Robert Luyster, Roy Thompson and Brandon Ericson attack a black man in Vancouver’s Rosemere neighborhood. All were convicted.

- March 18, 2013 — Brent Ward Luyster, brother Robert Luyster and Donald McElfish are accused of threatening to kill an interracial couple at Vancouver’s QuarterDeck Bar.

- July 15, 2016 — Documented white supremacist Brent Ward Luyster is accused of killing three people and injuring a fourth.

I think most people are noticing it. I hope it's some kind of crazy, desperate, last gasp before they go back underground.

Postponed again.

Luyster’s arraignment pushed back to Feb. 2017

The attorneys for Brent Luyster, who’s accused of fatally shooting three people at a Woodland home in July, argue the Clark County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and juvenile detention staff have been interfering with their investigation.

...
Lead defense attorney Bob Yoseph requested that Luyster’s arraignment be pushed back a third time while his team conducts further investigation. The new date was set for Feb. 14.

Luyster faces three counts of aggravated first-degree murder with the use of a firearm, attempted first-degree murder with the use of a firearm, and first- and second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm. A charge of aggravated murder carries the possibility of the death penalty.

Triple homicide suspect attempts Clark County jail escape, officials say
A man accused of shooting four people and killing three in July 2016 attempted to escape Sunday from the Clark County Jail days before he was scheduled to be arraigned, officials said.

The Clark County Jail is locked down until further notice while deputies investigate the circumstances of Brent Ward Luyster's escape attempt, Undersheriff Mike Cook said in a news release. The incident forced a significant police response, said Israel Young, who saw the police respond to the escape.
