Anyone know what defines "abduction" vs. not?
Jenise's family sure put a lot of faith in a six year old's ability to always do the right thing, and be able to discern an adult's motive or behavior.
I understand that she has always been allowed to roam around alone, but that's a lame excuse, and they should quit repeating it as if it's defensible.
Besides that, per their own protocol above; Jenise DID NOT "check in" with anyone Sunday, so how did that "usually" work? If it got close to dinner time and she failed to show up, send one of the siblings to go look for her and bring her home? Sighhhh ...
She's so precious. She's gotta be alive ! I've seen a few cases similar where the child was found alive in the woods and once sleeping under someone else's trailer. I don't know if this many days had gone by but her light is surely still shining somewhere![]()
Court records show that Jenise's father, Jim Wright, was accused of molesting an 8-year-old relative and assaulting a 15-year-old babysitter after a night of drinking in January of 2000. Wright entered into a Deferred Prosecution Agreement and the molestation charge was dropped. He pleaded guilty to a gross misdemeanor assault.
"Investigators don't know if Jenise wandered off or was the victim of an accident, abduction or homicide.
"We have to approach it as if it's a worst-case scenario and hope for the best," Wilson said.
Frank Montoya Jr., Seattle FBI special agent in charge, joined Kitsap County Sheriff Steve Boyer for a late afternoon news conference that emphasized partnership.
"This is all about finding Jenise," Montoya said. He stressed that agents would be working with other agencies on the case and "be able to look at all the pieces of information that could lead to Jenise's recovery."

So abduction is not off the table....... seems ' without a trace' is the story here. There seems to be nothing pointing to any solid theory and nothing to rule out any solid theory. Oh dear![]()
Nothing that has been revealed by LE anyway.....I believe they know a lot more than we do.
Are the neighbors allowing their homes to be checked?
I'll never understand why some parents are so trusting. I think they don't watch the news.
