WA WA - Jessa Kershner, 22, no contact with fam since Jan, lives in Sultan, last contact with police was in Everett, 7 Mar 2024

MISSING: We are seeking the public’s help in locating 22-year-old Jessa Kershner.

Her family reported her missing yesterday after being out of contact with her since January.

During the initial investigation, deputies learned Jessa was contacted by Bothell Police on January 15 and by law enforcement in Everett on March 7.

She has not been heard from since.

Her family is concerned as it is unusual for Jessa to be out of contact for this long.

Jessa’s last known residence was in Sultan.

Anyone with information on her current whereabouts is asked to call 425-407-3999 and reference case #24-60128.

If she's an adult and LE has verified her being OK two separate times since her family last saw her, it's likely that she just doesn't wish contact with her family. I worry in that she had a FB post about addiction, could be general in nature or referring to someone else, still it is worrisome. Hope she is in contact with someone soon.

There was also a search result on a voters registration site that states JLK was born in 2001 and was registered in Snohomish County, Washington. That would make the age add up.

Could be! Snohomish jail record doesn't list an age, and the missing persons report doesn't list a middle name so I couldn't 100% verify it was the missing woman without better court records but I'd say IMO it's likely, Jessa as a legal name isn't that common. (Note: Snohomish does not have online court record searches).

Snohomish city doesn't have public online court records, but Snohomish County does. The Snohomish County arrest record linked by Deluxed shows she was arrested in the city of Everett and taken to Snohomish County jail. This make sense, since the city of Everett uses the county jail as their primary jail.

The arrest record shows 4 misdemeanors and 1 felony. The misdemeanors would be handled by the city of Everett, who does not have public online court records. The felony would be handled by the county.

She only has one county level case, with a filing date of February 2024. It's an ongoing case, with the next hearing set for December 18, 2025. The last hearing was November 14, 2025. If she was still missing (or deceased), I don't think this case would be actively ongoing with recent and upcoming hearings. The title of the case is: 24-1-00184-31 | STATE OF WASHINGTON vs JESSA LOUISE KERSHNER

I don't know why there isn't a record for the 2025 felony arrest. Perhaps that charge was dropped.

Everett audio records their misdemeanor court hearings. Here is a link from when Jessa was arraigned on charges recently. The hearing was on 9/30/25: AV Capture All

Her date of birth is listed on the court hearing dockets as 07/05/2001. She's asked to give her full name and birthdate out loud verbally to the judge, too.

Thanks @sasha17 I went to the county records, not the city and it said records were available in person, by mail or online but then implied you had to pay for the Odyssey Portlal subscription to view the online records (so no free ones).

But that apparently isn't so, if I'd had read PAST that statement and the link it stated you can use the portal. So thanks for redirecting me~ I'm not sure either on the 2025 case, historically when they're dismissed I still see the record and just see the dismissal under disposition. Perhaps after the arrest, charges were not formally filed.
