Arlington Public Schools, Arlington WA This is Jonathan Hoang, a student in the district's Transitions program. He was last located near Burn Road last night. Please call 911 if you have any information.

According to Jonathan’s family, he left the house sometime between that evening and the morning of Monday, March 31, without a jacket, his shoes, or his phone.

They say this is not typical behavior for him, and are worried he may have gotten in a car with a stranger.

*****
His family told KIRO 7 that they believe he left the house, located in Arlington on 114th Drive Northeast, using the back door.

They believe he left with his mother’s slip-on shoes, his iPad, and was last seen wearing a pair of khaki pants and a t-shirt.

If Jonathan’s iPad connects to Wi-Fi, the family would be notified, however, they believe the device has already died.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said crews will continue to search for Hoang throughout Tuesday night and Wednesday early morning.

There are a lot of woods behind the location listed above for his home, and beyond the woods, a river. I wonder if he typically walks in the woods? It doesn't sound like he was dressed properly to be out for long. I hope he's safely located soon.

The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) called off the search Monday for a missing 21-year-old out of Arlington, Jonathan Hoang.

The search is suspended pending any further tips, evidence recovery, or leads. The SCSO said they have followed up on all possible leads and checked Jonathan’s electronic devices that were left at his home.

“I’m frightened that because of the label, him being autistic,” his sister Irene Hoang Pfister told KIRO 7. “The people searching for him made an assumption, you know, that he just wandered off. But we think that someone took him.”
