This is the second Asian international exchange student to go missing from Edmonds Community College in the past year. In July 2018, another student was missing for over a month but was later found. No information was given by police other than saying that student was found and the case was closed. Found Safe - WA - Battulga Batbold, 23, Mongolian exchange student, Lynnwood, 1 July 2018

@sasha17 interesting ... & Did you notice both of the missing students were same weight and height?
@Stripehaven if you are still a local, have you heard anything about Juheon?

Hi - I am still local, and I hadn’t seen anything about this disappearance. I was an EdCC student until about 18 months ago - I wonder how they’re publicizing this on campus. I may drop by the admin hall over there and see what I can see.

I see they have a post on the website with a message from the college president: Edmonds Community College: Emergency Communications

And a Facebook post from the college with the same information: Edmonds Community College

In case anyone comes across answers, please reply:
who reported him missing?
Does he have a phone & where is it?
What's his usual mode of transportation?
TIA

His Facebook has a photo of him on the bus on February 4. Here's the link to his page: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100005725934146

This article says he was last seen at his apartment, by his roommate. https://www.heraldnet.com/news/police-looking-for-missing-edcc-international-student/

According to his Facebook page, he recently received an iPhone and had his other phone, a Galaxy Note 2, up for sale.

Per college email, the police found him deceased. That’s all it says. More as I get it.

I can confirm this. I just had a friend who attends the college forward me the email. According to the email, the King County Medical Examiner is involved, which is curious because the college and the city where Juheon lived was not in King County. I hope they will give more details in the media later. Very sad.

I emailed two local MSM news sources who had published articles when Juheon was initially missing and asked if they had any further information beyond the email that the college sent to students. One replied and said they are "looking into it".

Statement from the President
It is with great sadness that I must inform you of the untimely passing of our student Juheon Kim. Juheon had been missing since Feb. 13 and was reported deceased by the King County Medical Examiner’s Office on Monday, Feb. 25.

I have been in close contact with Juheon's family and have conveyed our heartfelt condolences to them.

Juheon was a beloved member of our Triton community and will be missed by many. He arrived from Korea in 2018 to study at Edmonds CC and formed strong friendships and relationships during his time here with his fellow students and staff members, especially with those in International Student Services and the High School Completion Program.

We are here for our students and employees during this difficult time and have resources available for support. The Counseling and Resource Center is available to students. It is in Mountlake Terrace Hall, room 145, and staff can be reached at 425.640.1358. For faculty and staff, the Employee Assistance Program is available 24/7 by calling 1.800.648.5834 to speak with an on-call counselor.

24/7 call crisis services are available both locally and nationally:
