Different Law Enforcement tend to handle cases in their own way. Sometimes we do get much info early in and sometimes they are radio silent until an arrest. It did strike me a bit odd the Sheriff spokesperson was willing to indicate POI was the owner of the house but no name. I'm amazed the press hasn't leaked it. Yet.

Just heartbreaking for KC's mom. Just heartbreaking for her brother.
Especially her twin. IMO. Twins run in my family, vastly. I believe there are 6 sets in mine. 2 sets are around my age, one each side of my family. Anyway, I know that they have a very, very tight knitted, unexplainable to a non twin, twin bond. And they have some kind of ESP thing, have had their own languages when they were little and can sense and feel bad things when one is not well.
I always thought that was sooo cool and wanted to be a twin so badly. But didn’t think about how horrific that could be until right now. :( (inserting a million sad/crying emojis). Very heartbreaking to say the very least. #brokenheartsyndrome for real. MOO.

If she was NOT pregnant by chance and was killed because she thought she was...that is awful enough but if she was indeed pregnant, then whoever killed her might be charged with two murders, at least in some states...jmo

I'm worried that if they don't find her they won't be able to prove she was indeed pregnant.

Let's hope there is Medical Documentation.

Reposted the map that spiritseeker31 posted.
The Sheriff also stated that there were searches, or at least investigations going on elsewhere. I wonder if there's a team at that Pt. Defiance area.
Are there cliffs I wonder? Phone likely was tossed over the edge into the water imo. What about wooded areas?
Also wonder about cameras on the way. Possibly his truck, or Kassanndra's car, was seen going there that day.....maybe the "probable cause" pt. in the search warrant.

There are so many cliffs all around the entire point defiance park. Problem is if it made it into the water... it’s gonna be maybe near impossible to find. It’s the puget sound, it’s a deep inlet of the Pacific Ocean. If it wasn’t thrown into the woods, maybe hopefully it didn’t make it into the water. People get trapped on the hillside and there’s always rescues.

Not sure if she would need her Dr. referral for ultrasound or not-- I think it depends on health insurance policy, if she had one.
I know my insurance required a referral from my OB/GYN and my OB scheduled my ultrasounds.
Of course, that was many years ago also :)
I work in imaging now and it is the same way. OB/GYN does the referrals.

Thanks, sounds a bit like my area re: the constant rescues of people falling down the cliffs or stuck in high tide areas at the bottom.

Somehow I doubt the phone will ever be found, but I'm more concerned about
Kassanndra herself. When I asked about wooded areas, are there off trail wilderness places where one could hide a body (I hate even having to consider that), or places along the cliffs where she could have been thrown, that are isolated or not easily visible. Is there a rocky shoreline or are there areas when cliffs meet the water directly?

If she was scheduled for an ultra-sound, don't you think she had a positive pregnancy test? Or are you thinking she may have self-scheduled the ultra-sound at a studio, like this one, as in she wanted a gender reveal pic? 3D 4D Ultrasound Studio

Let's hope there is Medical Documentation.
There must be. If it was a first appointment I would think they would want to confirm the pregnancy and do bloodwork before scheduling an ultrasound.

She may have done an inhome pregnancy test and scheduled the ultrasound on her own. I wonder if she has health insurance?

Anyone follow twitter feeds that may have any updates? its a tool I really need to learn to use myself, so thanks to all of you that post them here for us!

it being 8pm in WI I would think they may be done with their search? I am selfishly impatient for news on this case I've gotten sucked in and im feeling so much for her family right now! hoping for answers soon

People who committee these types of crimes always seem to have such false confidence beforehand, I dont know where it stems from but it seems to be pretty powerful and can defy most logic
People with personality disorders tend to exhibit problems with impulse control and poor planning. Per this article: https://www.mentalhelp.net/personality-disorders/impulse-control-problems/

Now if this is true about him, then IMO, I think he may have Antisocial Personality Disorder. e.g. Ted Bundy.

All MOO of course!

Yes :/ unfortunately. There’s deep crevices in the woods area with lots of different trails.

Depending on the tide and area. Rocky, trees, logs, dirt hillside. I think it’s a full moon tonight. A lot of recreational boating, kayaking, etc in the area. Maybe that’s where some searches are focused on.

Still no word?

Ugh.

Prayers for a positive outcome . . . though, if LE is treating this as a homicide, diminishing hope.

They would still need to confirm the pregnancy and conduct a physical exam before scheduling an ultrasound. At least where I live they would. You can't make that kind of diagnosis yourself and call and request an ultrasound. It can only be ordered by a Dr. Imo
