I have asked three times now - where did you get his address?
How do you know his hiding places?
He has 1 (one) sex offense against a child of indecent liberties - are there more?

I thought the person in question is 23yo?

I got his address from Greys County perp station, and that was 2 months ago, his address was the 100 block of Heslop. I checked this addy out over and over and over again. I have no doubt about this info...NO doubt. Tell you what, if you live nearby, go there yourself and ask for the Braun residence on Heslop.

If you don't believe me, go to the first 3 or 4 threads on the LB discovery, I posted maps to that location

This is the set of Behive Apts i'm referencing.

This changes a lot if she was last seen in front of the center! Where has this news been all this time?! Are they mistaken?!

The Bee Hive is located right where they've always said Lindsey was last seen. Remember how somebody (jvk?) went there and asked if it had been searched, and it hadn't!

ETA Oh, good grief! I'm so far behind with this post. Sorry.

If you check that out and cannot find anything, let me know, then I'll find it for you

I didn't see the words "the man who owns the home" in that article. I read "the man whose home was searched over the weekend..."

One doesn't have to own a house to call it home. A person could live with family, friends or in a cardboard box and still call it their home. :)

Hi Jennifer, And also any guy over the age of 21 sould be considered a man, right? I do feel for the mother as it must be very hard to deal with as this comes out in the news. If there is something to it she probably had no idea. I hope she has some friends to talk to. xox

Does anyone realize that LE now has a POI specifically?! This is a huge step forward, imo. This is a first in this case! When it comes down to it, they do not say they have a POI unless the person is a serious and viable candidate for a subsequent arrest.

The person has nothing to do with the RSO and that subject needs to be dropped. They are not the same people at all. It is clouding the issue here.

WE HAVE A PERSON OF INTEREST!!
Let's figure out why and how would he know Lindsey. LE must have some connection to tie him to her disappearance.

Please stop fighting over the picture. I'll check with one of the mods to get the rules.

Norm - please correct me if I'm wrong - the picture you posted is of an RSO that was a minor when he committed his crime BUT he is now 23 years old. Is that correct?

Thanks,

Salem

I'm not fighting over a minor - I'm wondering how a minor who was charged last year could now be 23yo this year. I'm wondering where his address came from. I'm wondering where his hiding places are and how Norm knows of them. I'm thinking that if this isn't the 23 yo POI he has just been cast as a possible murderer and kidnapper of Lindsey. I guess it's no big deal - just wondering about some things. I'm not into protecting sex offenders - but this kid doesn't fit the picture thus far, like age!

This young jessy, with the feeling that he likes young teens or preteens, lives in McCleary, and apparently doesn't have a whole lotta control about this sort of thing, and he lives near the wood on Heslop 100 block, immediately south of McCleary, south on that bridge that acrosses highway 8, and make your first left on Heslop, to child molester lane

jessy braun is a convicted child molester and is one of the 3 know molesters within a few miles of McCleary. This information is "old", and has been known by regulars in this LB forum for months.

It is slightly disturbing to me that we need to reiterate some of this information to a few who have decided to contribute. Perhaps the best thing for you to do is go back to the first threads, review, read, and then share?

Just my opinion

Yes SS. Our POI and this SO on Heslop (sp?) is NOT the same person. I know this for a fact.

Our POI lives on the property that was searched.

It doesn't sound like the same guy.
It seems he and the houses that was searched and the sand creek pond in very close to each other doesn'r iT?
Also, it seems I read that there was an employee party at the BeeHive the night Lindsey was taken.

He is not the Person of Interest, Norm. I don't understand why we are discussing someone who is not even on LE's radar at this point. LE knows him. They know where he lives. If they felt he was in any way related to this case then it would be his house and property they searched so intently. It was not.

LE is concentrating on one person right now and we should be figuring out why! They already have information which leads them to believe he COULD be involved in Lindsey's disappearance. They must have some kind of evidence in order for them to obtain the SWs.

We need to have links for such information before we can take is as fact. Could you try to get us a link? A party there would be something we need to dig more into researching.

Thanks and Welcome to WS~

I agree - a party at the Beehive would be important information. Any links would be appreciated.

I couldn't agree more Kagey. That's what I was telling her, call them NOW. I'll work on her some more this coming weekend, count on it :) This rookie would like nothing more than to see Tim and the calvary come charging in.
Can I hear a ~ Amen ~. Breana, I'm cheering you on!

Do locals recall, or was it ever said if Sand Creek Pond was ever searched? I think someone mentioned this place awhile ago:

here it is on a map:

Hi ya Boondock, If they searched both of the culvert pipes that run side by side thru McCleary, which a man at the Bldg Dept told me they did right away, I can't imagine them not searching that pond. It doesn't look very deep and of course in June there wouldn't be much runoff water.

Mention of a party in this article, but it was not a party at the Beehive as far as I can tell. The Mayor does live across the street from the Beehive though, that might be the confusion.
McCleary Mayor Wallace Bentley remembers the night Lindsey disappeared like it was yesterday. The little girl’s route home would have taken her right past his house. In fact, a confirmed sighting of Lindsey has her disappearing right outside his home on Maple Street, within view of his windows.

“I’ve been bending my brain around what happened ever since,” Bentley said. “I returned home from a retirement party for a city employee. I was there. I know I saw kids on the street. But did I see her? I don’t know. I wish I could say I did, but I just don’t know.”

this is WA law

Level I.
Low risk to re-offend within the community at large. Information shall be shared with other law enforcement agencies and, upon request, the Sheriff may disclose relevant, necessary and accurate information to any victim or witness to the offense and to any individual community member who lives near the residence where the offender resides, expects to reside, or is regularly found. Level I offenders MAY NOT be the subject of general public notification.

if this kid is a level 1 You are breaking the law posting his picture ans address.

he isn't even listed at the Washington State Sex Offender Information Center

Person of interest in girl's disappearance

Investigators now call the man whose home was searched over the weekend in the Lindsey Baum case a person of interest.

This is why I am saying it, Norm. It isn't anything against you or who you may consider as a POI. This statement from LE says the man at the house they searched is a POI! They don't use this term lightly. It is what they used to call a suspect, but for legal reasons prefer not to say that anymore. Still, it means that LE has taken a special interest in him and has good reason to suspect he could have been involved in her disappearance. This is real NEWS.

Can't believe there's talk of a party - that would be huge. I'm certain that if it was ever discussed and confirmed it would be in my time-line. First I've heard of it.
