Hi Jennifer, I am being so careful to be acurate. LOL Early on that map showed the creek cutting across McCleary and it was said to be Sand Creek. We also heard the mention of Wildcat creek but nothing more was verified for us out of towners. xox Thanks


ETA: No that is a different creek, Wildcat Creek, to the west of the creek we saw cutting across the town of McCleary.

LOL Off Topic: When I first came here, I couldn't figure out how people were finding the smilies. They never showed up on my reply post screen. I finally was told they didn't show up on the quick reply screen which I always used unless you go to advanced. :crazy:

Okay, not to be weird, but this Normcar thing is really NOT FUNNY if it's a joke. Have we gotten to the bottom of this? Is there anything Tricia or the Mods can do? This is freakishly bizarre.....got a sick feelings reading it.....not joking, not funny, period, end of story. Will give a reminder that there are both "alert" and "ignore" buttons here are WS as well as FABULOUS moderators who are here to prevent such misinformation from spreading....

ETA: Sorry for the reaction....I've since learned of the "ignore" function and that there are "trolls" who are here only to get reactions (like the one I posted above) from those of us who truly care about locating the missing children we spend time researching. Thought I would leave my initial reaction in the hopes that it will serve as both a reminder (for myself) and example (for other newbies) of how these "helpful posters" tend to creat panic. Hope I haven't said anything ugly. Apologies if anything I've said turns out to be incorrect.

Hey everyone, don't know if this is connected with the case, but a helicopter is searching on the south side of the main highway here in McCleary, hovering pretty low at times. It's 1:10am PST right now. Been doing this for about 15 minutes now. South side of Hwy 8.

We rarely heard helicopters hovering in this area until Lindsey went missing, except when they were passing through. So this is unusual, especially if it is connected with this case. The only other reason I can think of is if there is a fire somewhere close they are checking out. Will have to wait to hear if that's the case.

Anyway wanted to note the activity to you all.

I hope it's not that either. It has been really dry here, maybe someone reported a brush fire. The one in Capital Forest was determined to be arson btw. As far as I know there has been no connection made between Lindsey's disappearance and that fire though.

It's 1:47am and the helicopter is back. Came up from the south, now sounds like it's headed back east. Fading away now.

Sorry SS, couldn't see it but it sounded like it was directly south of McCleary on the south side of highway 8. Earlier it sounded like it was circling that area as I could hear it for about 20 minutes and it slowly faded off to the south. Then it returned, but this time it's not hovering. It just passed through after coming up from the south and headed east.
