no, you weren't the one who posted about the helicopter, but it was disturbingly coincidental that that happened within an hour of those posts. Oops sorry about the caps, didn't realize they were on .

Yes, coincidences happen and I can understand the response. Everyone here is devoted to LB's safe return and any horsing around is unacceptable. If you all feel that my presence in this forum is negative to the ultimate goal then I will hold no negative feelings about being removed.

"talking about “10-year-old girl stuff, boys and music, school occasionally.”
Did anyone noitce that on Lindsey's myspace it said this:

Here for: Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends

Do any of you find it odd that the girls were said to have talked about boys alot? At 10 or 11 years old that just seems weird to me.
Having read all of the Twilight series myself(research purposes for work) I can see young girls getting caught up in the movie, especially when it is supposed to take place in your own area of the state. Bella stays a virgin until the last book. There is really no threat from Edward in that regard. A chaste relationship is easier to digest at that age.

I;m surprised that I haven't seen mention of the app on Kayla's MySpace that is sponsored by www.blacksinglesmeet.com. Obviously, my problem is with the age, not the racial difference. That page was supposedly monitored by KK.

NG Transport Heli just flew over. (2:20pm PST) Got a good look at it. Came right down hwy 8 going east to west. Is not circling the area, just flew over. (Estimate about 500ft up) This is more in tune with the article Jvk pointed out. Unlike last night when I could hear it for a solid 20 minutes hovering south of the hwy.

Just fly over my house in Montesano

What did you mean by don't you dare ? well, I take the dare, this little girl needs to be home NOW .

A dare to anyone involved in the crime that many are working to find LB...this little girl needs to be home NOW.

I would reiterate that suggestion, but perhaps with more clarity and specificity as to exactly what I'm saying (not being the poet, so to speak).

I apologize to you for the lack of clarity.

I have no problem letting these posts stand, it is an instruction to others how "not to" respond in WS, keep all things objective and make sure that all things are written without vagueness.

  • #247
Hey normcar21,
I'm glad you are here at WS trying to make sense of the senseless just as the rest of us are. But I do have a couple of ?'s.
1. Do you live in McCleary or near there?
2. In checking the neighborhood and knowing that everyone appears to be on the up and up( not your post verbatim but you get the jest) did you happen to run across any RSO's which may be family members of the neighborhood peeps?

No, and I checked them all, using first names, initials, last names, and then just last names in order to see if there was a slight possibility. I also did a nationwide check which didn't offer anything substantial, imo

No, I don't live anywhere near, but wish I did so I could get more in-your-face info.

The only SO business in town that I can find is with the 2 local SO's, both north and south of town, which everyone knows about. That's why I hope I can get some information on this possible rental property between 4th and 5th, on Maple, south side. I believe that some of this distraction today may have put a freeze on any additional information I may get. I hope not.

I appreciate your concern; however, I was not the one who posted about the "helicopter" as I checked that out myself. As well, I cannot find a post where I suggested anything about "discovery" and I have gone through this entire 6th thread. I'm not saying that I "didn't" use that phrase but it certainly shouldn't be interpreted as sinister. I hope if the mods deleted some things that there is some way to bring them back so I can perhaps explain my intent. I am, as some claim, perhaps a bit "odd" in my ways of conversing. I'm a musician, a poet, and a photographer, when I get tired I sometimes revert to creativity rather than objectivity, which should clearly be the reference point here.

As well, the "she sees you" and "make sure you see her" refers to a very tired individual being slightly poetic in the way that "if she is alive, then we are her helpers and we should ensure that we are doing everything possible to find [see] her." I won't use poetic license again.
I admit I have said some pretty off the wall things centered around my artistic side, but usually when mixing wine with my benadryl. LOL Hence, I do get that part.

We are allowed to smack you with a trout now tho. :trout:

Now...let's get back to finding this beautiful little girl named Lindsey.

Amen ss, and the bigger the trout the better, just so I remember what "not" to do in WS.

About that helicopter, I'm wondering if it is a normal route the NG would take in performing tests?

Does anyone know if the NG base is at Fort Lewis up by Tacoma? It makes one wonder if it flew straight down to Olympia and then followed Hwy 8. And also how often do they fly over this particular area, at least over to Montesano?

Ut could be just their reported mission, but the way they flew last night with infared, using no search lights, and up and down the hwy, at times lower to the ground in the area of Sand Creek lake, it does make me ask WHY. ;}

Normcar,

Great neighborhood sluething, BTW! I'd also like to know who lives in the rental house.

At Fort Lewis is Camp Murray. That is the NG area on base. In Montesano there is a NG unit. They are a support battalion. It's possible they are flying between bases.

Also if they are doing training missions, this is the normal route they would take. Although since Lindsey's dissappearance, there has been more helicopter activity. Could be a coincidence since most NG training is done during the summer months. I had to go to Yakima for 2 weeks in August every year.

Thanks Cyberswept as it all seems to fit with the article from last night.

One thing I've wanted to ask a local is if many homes have basements? Reading all the posts I think their searching inside every house was a misnomer. Of course if she is gone I think the last place she would be is in someone's basement, And it would be pretty risky to remove anything the size of a body from a home.

there are several NG locations...Bremerton, Kent, Tacoma, Montesano just to name a few.

helicopters flying around at night isn't usually a huge deal but if they were concentrated on one area then that is kind of strange.

Hi DogMom ~ Love your dogs...especially that guy in the background :)

To answer your question (I don't think anyone picked up on it and I'm sorry to repeat post if someone did) according to the Sheriffs office DRL is still incarcerated with No Bail.

It's no wonder, they keep letting him out, and he keeps finding his way back in there, Thank God!

You can see it here:

and here:

Hope this helps ~

Aww, thanks so much for the compliments on my boys! Don't have any real children yet (I will one day, God willing and when the time's right) so these guys are my "babies" and I love hearing nice things about them (just like any parent, lol). The big boy (tan and black, missing one eye) is Willie and the brown boy in the background is Joe-joe. I had to look really close to make sure that there wasn't a real "guy" in the picture that I hadn't noticed before....and thought at first that perhaps you were referring to the huge pile of laundry that I had been neglecting, LOL!!

Thanks for the info on DL, that clears up that point of confusion for me. As to why these people keep being released.....I hate to get started but can't help myself....there should be some type of high security, remote island where SO's get sent on the first offense...no second chances....let them just molest and torture each other so that we can rest assured that our innocent children are safe. If it were allowed, I would volunteer to take classes, undergo training (not that they deserve humane treatment) and perform whatever removal "procedure" necessary to prevent these creeps from EVER harming another child (eyes, ears, hands, genitals.....you name it....). I know I'm probably a little overboard and probably sound kinda psycho....just very passionate about children from the WORST type of abuse imaginable....okay, off my rant now.

Since we've excluded this DL guy, do we have any ideas about who this Eric is that Mark was talking about? And what about the Peter that he talked about....is this the guy that JVK saw leaving the jewelry store that was rude and refused to talk with her?? Very curious about what Mark had to say, because I kind of think she went up 6th and took a shortcut up Simpson and through Beerbower park to get home before curfew (she was on foot, so she didn't have to stay on the roads and could have easily walked thru the park). If she did take this shortcut regularly (passing through the area of town where the jewelry store and the bar are located) he might be onto something.....maybe he noticed someone watching her or might have overheard something??? I dunno....maybe I'm just making too far of a stretch. Ideas anyone???

ETA: I totally didn't mean to put that ugly red frowny face at the top, and now I don't know how to make it go away! LOL

We do have basements in this area. Older homes tend to have more of them. A lot of the newer ones don't. I couldn't really offer a percentage of homes with vs without. My wife and I bought this house about a year and half ago and looked at many houses here in Grays Harbor and Thurston Counties, none of the houses had basements.

Most older homes are built on post and block or foundations with newer ones built on foundations. You could do slabs here I guess, but I have never seen one. Foundations tend to have anywhere from 1 to 4 foot of crawlspace underneath them. They also have a vapor barrier. Usually this consists of a thick black plastic tarp that lays on the ground under the house.

LE would look at crawlspaces if they had cause to. In my opinion, they should look in all houses along the route LB supposedly took home, especially the crawlspaces.

I thought the "don't you dare" was a response to a poster that stated she would never give up looking for LB (or something to that effect). Normcar, when you are responding to a post, either quote it or address the poster. Then no one will get the heebie-jeebies. LOL

That's what got me too Jen. Normally they do fly over and then they are gone. This one I could hear on the south side of my house. The sound would get louder then softer, then louder, then softer. This suggested a circular pattern to me. Plus I could hear this pattern for about 20 minutes. Maybe they just decided to do their routine there, but in wake of LB's disappearance, it caught my attention.

I can back that up, cyberswept. Like I said, my bf was up for at least 2 hours while it was flying over the area of our home. He is military and not prone to exageration. Two hours does seem like a bit long for a training mission in one area...especially at 1am...lol. Don't know if it means anything...just hope that if it's not for Lindsey and it's just training...maybe they could fly over capital forest and let us get some sleep.
