The only RV parks I'm finding near McCleary are in Elma and Shelton.

Maybe there is one in McCleary that isn't listed on line?

Since we have found out the majority of the story is true. We can probably assume his daughter is indeed a friend of Lindsey's. This would mean she attends school in McCleary or Elma since those are the only two places Lindsey attended. This would narrow it down if someone has a yearbook for those schools to get at least this guy's last name.

Has anyone checked out Lindsey's myspace friends again? If they took his computer, it is possible he was communicating with Lindsey. To me, it would make the most sense he was using his daughter in order to do this without LE already having made the connection.

Have we found out anything on Allan/Allen yet - does anything have to be sleuthed - would it be helpful? Computer taken - fired - LE searh - holy moly something is happening.

I searched the whitepages.com as it is the best site I've found and use at work. Nothing. I tried Allen both ways, couldn't see it spelled any other way. I tried Miehoff, Meihoff, then each with one f at the end, same with lamhoff and then spelled lambhoff every which way.

One thought is we don't know that he lives in McCleary which is the city I used. Olympia is a short commute - what, 16 miles? But if it is true he has a daughter who knew Lindsey it could be he is from the Elma area as she used to live there. He could live in Shelton, Montesano, even Olympia if he goes to that same church where Lindsey goes. I mean the possibilities are endless.

My red hot thought about that was I wish I had a phone book to look thru. Fonda used the name Lamhoff/Lambhoff twice in talking to me trying to think of his last name. So it must have 'hoff/hof ' at the end of his last name. I don't know how to research that.

Now tomoz I would be willing to call someone at either KING5 or the Olympian paper, or another closer one if possible, to see if they can give me the last name of this Allen. Someone has to know, in fact you would think the info would come from Grays Harbor County if he was fired and his computer taken, right?


ETA: There is one journo whose name begins with a M who has written several articles about Lindsey, right. He is the one I would call as he would be interested and maybe have other ways to get info.

The only part of the rumor we've confirmed so far is that the caretaker at Saddleline was let go. Nothing about computers or daughter.

HOWEVER, get idea about checking ms friends!

It is our family housework, yardwork, vehicle maintenance day and I was sneaking in to post on this board so I was trying to hurry and didnt mean to cause so much confusion as to the location.
Has anyone found anything out about this "allen" tha might link him to what the LE were looking for on Larson today?
I checked the 2008-2009 Grays Harbor area phone book and could not find any variation of the name Lamhoff.

Yes, that is possible except I cannot imagine why a caretaker would be given a computer for an ORV park.

There is actually a history of folks with the last name "hof", seattle,Clallam, and some place called whitman.
I think if you use *hof for the search it might work.
I did the anywho for huff, hoffman, huffman, hof, in mcleary and surrounding areas. There are some allens with those names.

If he was the caretaker my guess would be that he would live on site...so depending on how long he was there he should be listed with a McCleary address/phone number...if he's listed at all.

addition: I haven't even been able to find Straddleline in the phone books I have...

Often LE will arrest someone they are looking at for more serious crimes with a minor infraction simply to get them in jail where they can interrogate them more to put pressure on them.
