http://docs.google.com/gview?a=v&q=...mmissioner+meeting+caretaker+park&hl=en&gl=us

caretaker contract was extended thru May 31, 2009. giving him enough time to find a new residence and the park time to find and advertise for a new live in caretaker.

i read that too. last year a guy named Ben B was caretaker. is that the one that was leaving this year? i forget what i've read. LOL

after i saw those minutes, i found a link with all the boards meetings. i've looked at 3/31 thru 6/8. i haven't seen where they announce who replaced that person. i'll keep looking

Thanks SS, I missed that part! lol

It might be interesting to see what tonight brings forth. Was it McCleary who knows Miss F.? Maybe she can give her a call at home tonight. Miss F. has probably been rolling his last name around in her head all afternoon now and maybe found out what it is and how it is spelled. :hand:

I am excited as I see forward movement in Lindsey's case. Even if we don't know if we are on the right track, we can't be all wet, right? LOLOLOLOLOL
Nope, we can't be all wet! Something is going on in Lindsey's case today.

It is Gailrene that is friends with Miss F. :) I know! I figured Miss F. remembered it about 3 seconds after you guys hung up. LOL

(Should we be using her full name here?! I just thought about that!)

Totally O/T: Mysticrose, I love your tag line.

On topic: I am looking for a program I used to have. It is an Ebay helper program. You can type in any word, even a name and it will give you all alternate spellings and common misspellings. As soon as i find it and redownload it, I;ll let everyone know if it came up with any spellings that may have been missed for Allan and his last name.
If I hadn't had to wipe my hard drive, I would still have it.

Sorry, quoting myself to add info

Hi SS, That's why I referred to her as Ms Voss lol

I did just call KOMO News and had a nice conversation with the news desk person, a gal who is familiar to the case. She said they have had nothing today off the wire about Lindsey. I gave her the info about 2 possible searches today, where they were, the caretaker being let go a week ago, etc, telling her we don't know if any of this concerns Lindsey.

She was going to call the Sheriff's office which is what they do when they get a call like this and I rold her she is the only one with the SCOOP so I expect to hear about it on the news by tomoz. She laughed and I had already told her KOMO News has had continual coverage of Lindsey's case which is appreciated by the public.

We'll see what develops!

Oh, She said if I can wait till tomoz, :innocent: to call Grays Harbor County. She said the caretaker is a public employee and that is public information. And they can't withhold it from a private citizen.

That was great she told me that, as I had't even thought of finding out who this guy was in that light. As a public servent. I guarantee by tomoz morning we will know who he is. xox

Hey guys. Don't get too excited about the verbiage for an executive session. The verbiage is the same for any meeting when it comes to discussing personel issues. I am a public official and we have to use the same verbiage for ANY discussion of employment - hiring or firing or anything. The employee CAN ask that the meeting be public, but that doesn't happen very often.

I don't think they would just hand a guy the keys on June 1st and say "ok, your the caretaker now". I am thinking maybe his probationary period was over, like 90 days and he just couldn't do the job. Thinking he was hired back in April.

You know, whatever else is true about this caretaker, or not, McCleary LE sure seems to be busy, and they're all still looking for Lindsey. That's really good news to me.

I think I'd like it, living in McCleary. It's a beautiful part of the country, and the people I've "met" so far are lovely folks. Every one of you!

I bet Lindsey's life is happy there.

Off to the store as I am famished but I'll see you in a bit and hopefully we will learn more tonight when our locals check in. {hint hint} xox

Don't know if this is helpful but I did some googling and found a pg that lists an emergency phone # for the park caretaker but doesn't give a name. I can list the phone number if it's ok (and a link).

The Northwest does have wonderful people here! I'm a California native - living here for 11 years. The small town I'm in is absolutely the best place I've ever lived!
