WAPATO, Wash. – The family of missing boy Lucian Munguia, the boy who disappeared from a Yakima park in September, has been found dead.
Lucian’s remains were found near a river in Wapato Thursday afternoon.
Lucian disappeared from Sarg Hubbard Park in Yakima on September 13. He was 4-years-old at the time.

Goodell spoke to Lucian’s family earlier this month on the case. “There’s no footage of anything; there’s nothing,” said Sandra Munguia, Lucian’s mother. “There’s no piece of clothing, no shoes, no sock, no … No anything. It’s just really, really hard.”
The case was investigated by the
Yakima Police Department, the
Yakima Sheriff’s Office, members of the resident FBI office, as well as local search and rescue teams.
