‘Armed & dangerous’ couple wanted after missing woman found assaulted, suffocated & dumped in remote area: Police

Washington authorities are searching for two people in connection with the death of Rachell Rene Roberts, a woman found dead earlier this month.

Investigators indicated that they don’t think Roberts was killed where police found her body. Two people, identified as 37-year-old Mathew Collett and 28-year-old Kylie Kadeen Craig, are wanted in connection with Roberts’ death.

Horry County police say a Loris man was arrested after a series of events Sunday that included the suspect threatening to "fillet" a baby and cutting doughnuts in the yard.

Matthew Collett, 35, is charged with unlawful neglect of a child, possession of cocaine, malicious injury to animals, third-degree assault and battery, simple possession of marijuana and discharging firearms.

Suspects in Mason County murder rented 2 U-Haul vans

Detectives believe a man and woman suspected of killing a woman and leaving her body off a forest service road in Mason County had rented two U-Haul vans to throw off investigators.

Piecing together surveillance video and debit card purchases from across western Washington, detectives believe Mathew Collett, 37, and Kylie Kadeen Craig, 28, killed Roberts, ditched the two vans and went on the run.

Arrested in Humboldt County! Here's a linked local newspaper article. According to the article, Collett tried to carjack a car from a dealership. Also, a policeman stopped to assist their broken down car. Both men are lucky to be alive.
