the boy was not injured or harmed, but he was very upset, scared and hungry.

no signs of foul play and they do not believe it was a suicide

(I wonder why had hadn't been taught to call 911 yet? Four is old enough, imo.)

Question: If the couple were going to answer an ad, they must have spoken to someone that day, yes? How could they have spoken to the dad, if the son said it had been 2 days that he couldn't wake his father?

I missed where the pair spoke with someone to set the appointment to look at the room that day? I just figured they must have set the appointment up earlier in the week at a mutually convenient time. Not all appointments are made the same day or the day before.
