Cases like Rachael's are stressful for those who know her and are concerned for her very life. Emotions are running on high. I would hate to see things get ugly in here and the thread get yanked. Take a deep breath guys ... I see "why" (ITA) but again, we don't want the thread to get shut down.
WHERE IS RACHAEL?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree, ;) Thanks for understanding... I think I am better now. The coffee has kicked in.

Yes, WHERE IS RACHAEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you locals seen the FBI out on the town yet? Lot's O' cars at LE station? Anything?!

  • #603
No and I fear that....after watching the news report on Monday....they are still on a keep them posted basis....

As for the question about the media itself...we aren't talking top dog reporting here....we are talking small town..."student of the week"....reporting

Not to mention that because of that and the whole "good ole boy" thing I mentioned before I think the LE has a pretty firm grip on the media....

ZACTLY, but discuss the post NOT the poster.

I haven't seen an increase in vehicles at the LE station or an increase in patrols, or scanner traffic, or anything even resembling the FBI. Here is the most recent news report from our little local news station though-not much info however-

Heard that Nancy Grace was looking at Rachael's case though, right? That would be wonderful!! Lot's O exposure and will keep LE's toes to the fire, KWIM?

If you look close...that info comes from a blog...that is connected to the lewiston morning trib....on the page itself it is called the Tribune Tattler....the info that they give out is stuff that doesn't make it to print......which most likely means that some of it is stuff that can't be confirmed by the paper......so I don't know how correct that is....I can't confirm that info anywhere else...

Family and friends join the search

As police continue their investigation, family and friends continue to search for Rachael Anderson.

Anderson's daughter Amber Griswold said members of the family and others were spread throughout the area Tuesday, looking for clues.

Griswold said she was headed to Riggins while others were going to Pomeroy.

Allow me to explain myself further. With weekend visitation and the boys and their fathers living in the same small town, it is common for the father(s) to pick the boy(s) up at daycare on Friday night and take them to school on Sunday morning...if that is "their weekend." When my kids were younger, I had the same type weekend visitation for my boys and their dad. Court ordered visitation was from 5pm Friday night to 8am Monday morning. I would pick up my boys from daycare on Monday after work.

I know you meant Monday morning but here's my Q..IIRC, it was reported way back from? that the kids were brought home on Sunday night which led me to wonder WHY the dad(s) didn't notify someone that Rachael wasn't home..That's been bugging me ever since so if you know this to be 'fact' I'm glad this issue has been cleared up..TY!

I just read the article...it sounds just like random looking to me....but in all of this it REALLY....REALLY bothers me that it doesn't seem like ANYONE is searching Moscow....HELLO...it was the last place she was seen....THE ONLY PLACE A SEARCH HAS BEEN DONE.....not to mention they are going as far as Riggins, ID which is hours away and nothing about the TONS of little tons that suround our area....NOTHING in this case makes sence....there seems to be NO DIRECTION whatsoever...

I don't recall where it was said that they were brought home on Sunday night.. Do you? I don't remember hearing that anywhere. From what I know they were being taken to school by their dad so there was no reason to contact Rachael. Just sayin ... ;)

I couldn't agree with you more, I jsut dont understand it, unless again they know something we dont. Which we all know is possible, but WHY Riggins??? That makes NO sense to me at all!

Maybe pings from her phone? Grasping for straws, I know. But her phone was in the Yukon and it wasn't found until Wednesday. May have been there all along, but just saying the possibility exists that the Yukon could have been somewhere other than Moscow or Lewiston/Clarkston from any time Friday night until Wednesday 4-21 at 12:30 pm.

I wish I could recall but I don't..It had to come from a poster, her missing page, or the media..There's no sense trying to look for it now (not an easy task either) cos it's been resolved IF like I said it's known to be 'fact' it was not Sunday night.

For the posters that don't know our area I guess it is probably hard to understand.....but you couldn't even imagine the hundreds of miles of wilderness between here and Riggins......why someone would take her.....head that direction....and still have her with they when they got to Riggins......i understand hoping that she is ok.....and I really hope so too....but to just head out in randome directions seems to be a waste of time and man power.....

ITA. That's very random. It's always best to gear searches based on known facts and good intel. Random searches are fruitless. But I guess they make some people feel better that they are at least doing something.
