I thought the Yukon was found in North Lewiston???

Don't mean to confuse this conversation any more, but 1forevry1 said that Rachael never owned a Yukon and it must have been the loaner found. Have they found Rachael's car yet? TIA :banghead:

The only info that I can find about a storage unit is the one that was posted on the last page that says Moscow ID. No one has said anything about storage in lewiston as of yet.....that I can find anyway...

As far as I know, eyes, Rachael's car wasn't missing.

According to locals it is in Moscow at Palouse Multiple Services, a car repair place.

I need a drink....... <thud>

Well if it was there...from what I saw Thursday and Friday...it would have been processed by the crime lab then...

Can you google walk what I did in my edited post above?
I am looking at this location because a poster on the missing facebook said that LE had search dogs out in that location on Monday 4-19. He wanted to organize a search and look at that field again.

This is **RUMOR** saying that because I cannot site a LE Source

Oh my gosh - do you think that involving

two states ID & WA
two cars
multiple counties in each state
storage sheds
triangular pings from phone

was planned?

Travel between all of these places is very common. There are people that live in Clarkston and work in Lewiston....and the other way around...people that live in lewiston and work in Moscow and the other way around....

If you live in a big city it is just like having a 45 min comute from one side of town to the other..if that makes more since....

They are speaking of a car at that place of business...we know the loaner wasn't there....but like I said before...I believe that there were several cars searched from that location. The fact that he had so many cars avaliable to him just makes the whole situatuion more difficult...

That storage place is on Thain ave.....which is about 4 blocks or so from ziggy's on Warner ave and the fields.... Both in Lewiston

Thanks - but again it fails to tell us 'what' car, the loaner or Rachael's car.

The reporting on this is terrible in both states! By all the reporters! And in all the counties! moo

Is it possible the article describes Rachael's (owned) vehicle as "her car"
and Rachael's (borrowed/loaner) vehicle as "the Yukon".

Clarkston Police Chief Joel Hastings said the investigation by a task force formed earlier this week has yet to lead detectives to Anderson. Items of potential value collected from the 1997 GMC Yukon she was driving and from the Moscow building where she was last seen are being sent to the Idaho State Police crime lab for analysis, he said.

Hastings declined to name any items seized during either the search of the structure or the car. Police are also not revealing the address or type of building searched by detectives.

so vague, it irritates me.
and then farther down in this vague article:

The GMC Yukon Anderson borrowed and was driving at the time of her disappearance was also initially missing, until the sport-utility vehicle was found parked near the North Lewiston Dynamart convenience store Wednesday afternoon.
Surveillance footage from the convenience store is being reviewed by Lewiston police, though Greene said nothing of value has yet to surface on the videos.

This needs to be clarified.

has this thought been thrown out here yet.... that perhaps her phone was found in HER car (not loaner)... just wondering out loud as there was evidence taken from the car wash (just thinking it could have been her car?)

just a thought.

Also, I noticed in the Susan Powell thread that remains were found in Idaho (southern). May not be related but thought it was at least worthy to be posted just in case http://www.kpvi.com/Global/story.asp?S=12368629 ((some media articles say there is also a woman missing for three years and it could be her as well: http://www.sltrib.com/news/ci_14962437))

I'll say!!

fwiw (the way I understand it) the Yukon is the loaner.

Her car has not been reported on per se... unless it was some of the elusive 'evidence' taken from the car wash.

The remains found were pretty far into decomp.....it is going to take 2 weeks to 2 months to ID...and Idaho Falls is almost a 9 hour drive from Lewiston one way...our area is remote enough that there really wouldn't be a reason to drive 18 hours round trip....
