As far as the Yukon discovery location yes ... but straighten me out on the below.

Cell Phone Pinged in:
Clarkston Police say they tracked her cell phone to an area in Lewiston. Her family says that area is an open field investigators spent most of the day and night Monday searching but didn't find anything. http://www.kxly.com/news/23213401/detail.html

Storage Unit Location:

I found Ziggy's on Warner Ave, and google-walked up the road. I see there are Storage Units on the right. Tin faced, with blue trim.

There are fields on the same side down the road from Ziggy's. Looks like they grow oats or barley in it. Is all that correct?
Sorry it took me so long but CORRECT!

Belle Fourche man reports missing sister

Robert Anderson of Belle Fourche is in Clarkston, Wash., this week, helping family members search for his 40-year-old sister Rachael who has been missing since April 16.

Robert and his wife, Sara, spent the past weekend there helping with the effort to find the woman who was last seen in nearby Moscow, Idaho, on Friday, April 16.

Rachael's two daughters say their mother was being harassed by an unknown stalker in the weeks prior to her disappearance. Rachael is described in an e-mailed family statement as a 40-year-old white female, 5 foot 4 inches, and 120 lbs.

The remains found were pretty far into decomp.....it is going to take 2 weeks to 2 months to ID...and Idaho Falls is almost a 9 hour drive from Lewiston one way...our area is remote enough that there really wouldn't be a reason to drive 18 hours round trip....

The body found in Idaho, they think it's one of two of their own missing persons from just a few miles from the scene. One of the possible victims went missing 3 years ago.

It sounds like it was JUST 'skeletal' remains which would rule out Susan Powell from Utah from last December.

JMHO

GRRRRRR I am going CRAZY here..... just needed to say that! Thanks for listening all!

Are they going to make us wait until the 11:00 news? Yeesh!

Did you guys notice that in the rapid city journal report that is posted above.... the brother says that they found her phone in the yukon......the officer on klew made it sound like they may have had the phone for awhile but couldn't tell about it to protect the integrity of the investigation.....that is also what he said about not giving info in general....that it is to protect the investigation....maybe they have had it all along.....

From my understanding they found the cell phone in the yukon but that they couldn't disclose that. SO what in the world was up with the "PING" in the field?

Ping on Monday...yukon found on Wednesday....

Dang news now I am even MORE confused.

  • #493
I just knew they had the phone for a while.

Hope it can lead to some conclusions

klew also says she has brown hair and black eyes. Geesh. Not the clearest reporting in the world.

But one of the reports from recent links clears up that they are calling the Yukon "hers".

I wonder what was the purpose of the goose chase in the field?

Missing Clarkston woman's cell phone located

CLARKSTON - Police say they have found the cell phone belonging to Rachael Anderson, the woman from Clarkston who has been missing for 10 days..

"I understand that the public with the family and different friends have initiated a lot of searches for the cell phone and just so people know that we have recovered the cell phone," said Asotin County Sheriff's Office Captain Dan Hally. "We are just not in the position now where we can disclose where that was located, so for those that have been out looking, both the vehicle and what we believe is Rachael Anderson's cell phone have been recovered."

I anxiously awaited the news report tonight about the cell...what a load of BS! They already had it, it was in the Yukon...along with her purse.

I hope they are being so quiet for a reason! I hope they have a locked in suspect (CC!!) when they finally do start talking. And he starts talking about where Rachael is. The poor family and so many people who care are sitting on pins and needles. Family members are saying there is foul play involved, but law enforcement has yet to say anything. It's so frustrating!

I want my friend found and I want her found now. Torture him, I don't care what they do to him...he was doing it to her!

I feel better after my little rant! :banghead:

Does anyone suspect that the body could possibly be found in the storag shed? I know it was in Rachael's name, but if someone (CC!) had her keys, they would have access to open the storage shed, right? Some criminals have done more stupid things. I want a POI named! I want to know where CC was on Friday night and trace his actions over the entire weekend.

If you were CC, where would you hide a body?

I am with you Friend.... going for the storage shed, or somewhere close to there or the business. DAMN it! (can I say that? OOps if not, MY BAD IM SORRY!)

Keep our heads up.... THEY WILL FIND HER!
