This is the person over seeing the team of 8 who is trying to solve this case. He has posted on the FB page. Asking a person who may have something to contact him. They need to make the hotline number anonomous...JMO--maybe they are afraid of getting crank calls.

I just saw on the tube last night about the case in Pocatello where the two boys killed their class mate and made a video in school. They apparently were planning on doing in the school too before they were caught. WTH is going on? I feel so sorry for the parents...victim and the boys. How terrible. I hadn't heard of this case before this.

When I saw that on the Facebook page I thought to myself, they have a specific reason for doing so. I agree with you 1for1. Hoping someone made that call, but email would be an easy way to send in tips/information too.

IMO I think they have hit a dead end and moving from calls to e-mails is LE's backing out of the media and away from the case. I mean I don't think the FBI ever even got involved.....what little media there was is almost gone....I hope I am wrong but that is the feeling that I get.

Requesting e-mails is a good way of documenting the tips as they can be forwarded to whomever is working on the case and dealt with by whomever should interact with the person.

It is gated and 100 yards if that from some sort of LE agency....

It is literally right next the the new Nez Perce County Sheriff's office. The gate to the compost facility is basically just a metal pole with a lock-very easy to to over or under. Also, the river is VERY close to these facilities and where the Tahoe was found. The railroad keeps cars on the tracks directly next to the river. We also have 2 ports, Port of Whitman/Clarkston and Port of Lewiston-lots of barges and storage containers. There is also a log yard located very near by.

I agree. I think that with emails 1. it doesn't tie up dispatch phone lines because normally tips aren't short and sweet 2. it helps to make sure that the tip coming from that person is documented instead of maybe going from caller to dispatcher to detective to another detective and so on. 3. most tip callers would rather not TALK to anyone I think. Its a hard hurdle to overcome. I DO NOT in any way shape or form think that the LE is backing out of this case AT ALL. Maybe at this point in the investigation they are just packing all that much more into their case. A large case file never hurt any defense as far as I am concerned. JMO

We haven't heard from fapone for a while. I hope she contacted the LE and they are listening to her. The fact that fapone ran and then hid from CC gives me hope that Rachael did the same. However, I doubt she would not be in contact with her children... I pray today is the day she is found okay.

Also in searching I found that something was printed in the Lewiston Tribune on Jan 9, 2010 in the records section regarding Rachael and CC. Most likely notification of the dissalution of marriage....you have to have a subscription to read the full artical...

I don't really find this disappointing I find it reassuring that the word is getting farther and farther out there. After all, even tho we don't have any NEW articles , Rachaels story still remains in the Most Popular section of most online news pages. I tend to look at the glass half full instead of half empty.

The place on your map that you are talking about is call Eko Compost and you can not dump there. The road that it is on is a paved Hwy that goes from the top of Lewiston grade (coming from Moscow) and come out near where the Yukon was found (at the bottom of Lewiston grade in Lewiston). Is that about as clear as mud?

New here. But I thought I would say there IS a dump transfer station right next to EKO Compost. We use it all the time. It is open every day of the week, except big holidays, I think. It is open from like 9-4:30 or something like that... You basically back in, drop off your garbage on a big cement slab and eventually when there is enough garbage piled up, they take a front loader and push it all into a big garbage dumpster that is then hauled to the landfill...

And RUMOR... I heard that she had no idea who was calling her.

DJP is the father of her youngest son. They are still friends and their divorce was amicable. He is 25 years older than she is (he is 65) and the age difference became too much for them. I have met him and he is a nice guy. I don't believe he would do anything at all to hurt her.
