It isn't even on KLEW (CBS in Lewiston) website. Under local news it is talking about the Asotin Co. budget cuts and that a plane landed in Lewiston because a passenger said he was an alien. She's not even on our own local news! This is so frustrating. The last mention of her was on April 30! 6 days now and nothing.

She has asked questions on the girls' FB page. She sounds GOOD! I think she is on the forum (not right now) but I think she HAS been.

She just replied to my email; She has been busy working on another missing person's case but said she will try to contact LE again to get an update. Also said she tried to contact Rachael's family but did not receive a response.

Odd that the family isn't giving any comments or answering any questions that they can. I know it is a hard time and they want to stay positive but I am not seeing much positive where this case stands at the moment.

Another thing that is eating at me, WHY don't we know where RACHAEL's car is? We don't even know WHAT she drives, don't know IF they found it. If it is fixed, if it is still vandalized or ANYTHING, I realize it isn't a HUGE necessity to know any of that but um, I don't know about anyone else, I sure would like to know as many details as we can!

I can't even begin to imagine what they are going through right now. Most families appoint a spokesperson at this point.

All of these things are things I have been tiptoeing around from the begining. I also understand wanting to be positive but not one thing in this case has EVER made since.

How about the fact that her OWN family NEVER mentioned she was married.
Or how Rachael had filed police reports against SOMEONE ( we assume CC because reports say "estranged husband" and "ex") and still in so very many reports her family said she had NO IDEA who was bothering her....HUH....that makes no since.

Not to mention that even the most liked people would have a couple of guesses if someone started STALKING them. But if Rachaels and CC's reltionship ended due to a choking incident (which is what had been rumored here) how the heck did no one know??

IMO I think someone has had a FIRM grip on every single thing that has been reported in this case. I think someone has had a FIRM grip on every single thing that hs been SAID in this case....due to the fact that nothing has even been said on FB.
I also think that they have not found one SHREAD of evedince againts cc and WILL NOT mention him or his business for fear of bing sued for deffimation of character.

Speaking of the business like I posted last night there were people there at 6:30 P.M. (which isn't unusual) and there is a missing poster outside.

The time stamp on my FB page says April 20th at 1:49pm. But maybe that is because they are an hour behind me .... I never thought of that, Thanks.

I also don't see where you would think they sent emails? Just saying, they could have jut posted as they read it. I don't know and its JMO.

I was almost wondering if LE has a gag order. It went from the family talking about organizing searches to nothing. I understand too that they want to remain positive, but something is still really nagging me. The only talk has been of the bake sale tomorrow. THAT hasn't even gotten media attention. I sent emails to KLEW earlier. IMO, my high school journalism class would do a better job covering this story than the locals are.

I have to assume that Rachael may not have shared everything about her marriage to CC with her family. Maybe they did not approve of him, we just don't know any of that. It's personal and private and her girls may be trying to shield their Mom. They came forward with the stalking/harassment info right from the get-go. That was immediately relevant and made sense to disclose. The who and why, well look at LE's reaction to her reporting the incidents ... To me it's quite obvious that whoever was stalking her had something to do with her disappearance. That's just logical.

I don't agree that LE has "not one shred" of evidence against him. I think they have plenty, but circumstantial evidence doesn't often win convictions. They are hopefully being PRUDENT and waiting until they have proof in order to gain a conviction. Gosh I hate all this speculation, makes me crazy. But what else can we discuss at this point? There are a few dedicated posters here on Rachael's thread that know her personally and I plan to stay here with them until this case is solved.

Thank you for the 'boots on the ground" report on his business, greatly appreciate that.
