JMO but the whole pastor thing seems ridiculous. I can almost bet that he called to talk about "oh what am I going to do Rachael is missing" I HIGHLY doubt this man would flat out admit it to his pastor. I think the call was a "alibi" in CC's mind. Again this is just mt opinion. But from what I hear of this church and the pastor OF this church... there is NO WAY this man would rat CC out. It seems as tho this church stands by the men 100%. Hence the showing up at his last hearing to "tell what a good man Charles is"...... yeah my butt.

I totally agree....I also thing that the pastor would invoke the privilege of confidentiality right away if anyone tried to make him talk.

Donna Mae Stamper on Facebook said, "My husband reported to the investigators this morning something he remembered seeing on the 17th of april."

Has anyone heard what her husband reported to LE?

I heard that rumor before too and haven't heard anything more about it.

I believe I posted earlier that it was that he in fact saw the Yukon by Pullman and then later by some old abandoned grain silos. Don't have this as a FACT just a rumor since it has never actually been told via "media".

Oops...now I can put the two together and make sense of it. lol

I agree 141, I don't think he confessed anything. I don't think he talked to the pastor about moving back to AZ either.
As far as his charges for the weapons, they have a PICTURE and a witness for the hand gun exchange. He's up a creek without a paddle on that charge. RB isn't going to jepordize his career and hide anything, I wouldn't think, but I also wondered why he didn't tell CC to get that gun out of his house. Bad decision on his part.
To tell you the truth, the FBI is involved and I don't think too many are going to be saying too much unless ask. IMO

Well this church would certainly be different than most I have attended, I'm not saying all pastors would break their confidentiality, I would just hope they would know what clearly is the best thing to do. I would agree that CC would not confess to his pastor, rather go in there and make the pastor and church believe he was a great, reformed person and was greatly concerned about her disapperance and well being. Every church has a different belief & value system and every pastor is different too. I haven't heard anything about this paticular church or pastor so am only hoping that if any of the members or the pastor have any information that could be of help, they would come forth with it rather than support a member of the church. There is a whole family, children, the other parents and RA, it is not just about CC so I hope the will pull their heads out of the sand and do whats right if they know anything.

For anyone concerned with the other victims in this situation, her children....the oldest is being bullied at school and is having a very hard time with it and worst of all his mother missing. I am feelng very sad for him right now, the kids in his school know his mom is missing and they continue to bully him, he hid under his desk today because he couldn't take it. His teacher asked him if he would like to share with the class what he was going through right now and he did, he told them my mom is missing and I have lots of things at her house that I can't have and I don't know if she's coming back and these kids are being jerks to me...one of the kids apologized but this kid has already been in trouble for bullying him and knew his mom is missing and still continues to be a jerk to him, they were telling him he is stupid and just awful crap. Like he needs any more on his plate than his mom missing, he has to deal with little a-holes that have no sympathy for others.:furious:

Kids sure can be tough on each other. Another thing to add to my prayers. Thanks for sharing with us, it helps put things in perspective. Instead of it being a missing persons case, it's a missing mom. A missing daughter. A Missing Sister. As I have felt for the family the whole time, it helps to remind myself that facts and rumors aren't the only thing going on.

I hate hearing that. Makes my lip curl. :furious::furious::furious: Maybe not the best thing to do, but I'd be pulling up on someone's ear...the ma or pa's. Too much of this...It's been decades since I was in school, but I truly say I never saw or heard one incident of this. The teachers and principals just would not allow it....period. You'd spend all day in the principals office or be sent home for awhile.....of course, they had the paddle too, but I can't remember a girl getting it..:innocent::angel:. This is another rant I have...another time. My heart breaks for this little guy.....he needs a counselor NOW. NOT happy about this and a little worried..(there are kids committing suicide over crap like this and he also is going thru the trauma of not losing his mother, but not even knowing where she is.) I hope someone gets him some help......soon...please.

Oh the counselor called to make an appointment with them today and will be at their house tonight...she actually told his stepmom over the phone that it didn't sound like he needed counseling, she was like OH YES HE DOES AND HE NEEDS IT NOW. I know all the bullying in school these days is way out of control and it's time to go back to to old way and stop babying everyone and giving them excuses for their bad behavior. At least it is almost summer break and he will get a few months away from that crap and can hopefully work through his emotions with a trained professional.

I am so relieved to here this, but can't imagine why they said it didn't sound like he needed counseling. WTH? Please keep us updated on how he and his little brother are doing. I hope they get to see each other often. There's separation/trauma there too.

If that's the case, why haven't there been any searches around that area?

Well, I think because he has been handling it rather well considering...I don't think he quite fully grasps the whole situation yet. They said the counselor was very nice and good to talk to, she did say that at this time she thinks he is doing rather well and seems to be handling okay, he has had a lot of support from his dad & stepmom and sisters and has gotten to play with his brother so I think that he feels/knows he still has family and people that will take care of him and that love him and be there for him, one day the realization that he may very well never see his mom again will hit and hit hard, so they will be watching him carefully for any changes in behavior and help him get further help.

They gave the counselor the number for her youngest son's father so she could try to help him explain things to him, he has been so protective of letting him know too much but it would be nice to have someone help him talk to his son about it. The counselor is suggesting to the family that they have some sort of memorial service so they can all have some sort of closure, say their goodbyes and hope LE will figure out WTH happened. It's very hard to say goodbye and I think especially in this case where there are no definite answers so I don't know, I could not imagine making that call.:nerves:

JMO---But I don't agree with this counselor. :(

His church is not a Presbyterian. It is a non-denominational pentecostal church. The pastor started the church a couple of years ago...

RB's association is still a huge question for me. He does biological work (plant dna for the most part I believe) Location, Pullman/WSU. WSU operates an incinerator----what if CC figured out/obtained access to that???
http://facops.wsu.edu/incinerator_faq.asp
What is the mission of the WSU Incinerator?

The WSU Incinerator supports Washington State University's missions by managing the Universities Veterinary Teaching Hospital and Research medical and pathalogical waste stream in an efficient, effective and safe manner.

When I worked at WSU, I made a lot of biological waste. It was sealed up and picked up by facility operations. Very specific people. And then they are the ones that incinerate it. I had no access to the incinerator and he would have no access to the incinerator unless he worked for fac-ops, which it sounds like he didn't. Not only that, but the boxes that we used for biological waste were pretty small and there is no way you could hide a body in one without the person picking it up questioning what was in there due to the weight. We had to be very specific about what was in the biological waste.

I also feel very sad for the children. I can't believe the counselor doesn't think her son needs any more counseling. For pete's sake, his mom has disappeared and he is getting teased relentlessly at school. I know how hard it was for me when I got teased in school and my mom wasn't missing. I really wish that schools would toughen up on kids when they are bullying. I also don't agree with the teacher making him stand up and explain everything in front of the class. Most kids already know what is going on and that just sets him up for more teasing, IMO.

His discussing the situation should be his choice in conjuction with the parent. Doesn't sound like the timing (him under this desk) was a good time for sharing anything. I went to sleep last night thinking about this little guy and his siblings and what they face and are up against within the next year, especially...let alone the ramilfications for the rest of their live. Please God, we need justice for RA and her whole family being thrown into this turmoil. They need answers, comfort and guidance. I go back and listen to the song posted earlier here every few days..it is beautiful and keeps me going for RA.

This seems crazy to me! It is way too soon to be making decisions like this!
