NO news of the hearing anywhere I can see this morning (besides hollyblue's link)... wonder if media will got off their a*^ and do a story AFTER the hearing today. Not holding my breathe but it sure would be nice.

Unbelievable how stories just fall out of the public eye and get forgotten. So sad.

Sorry about the confusion on the church denomination....

But to give an idea this happen in the state of Washington where Rachael lived and is posted in a pentecostal publishing...however I do not know if this was regarding a pentecostal pastor...

"A recent Washington state case regarding confessions made by a church member to a pastor dealt with the issue of waivers. The congregant made certain confessions to his pastor regarding a murder in which he had been involved. The pastor discussed it with two colleagues. At the church member’s trial, the court attempted to compel the pastor to testify regarding the confessions. When the pastor refused, stating they were confidential, the judge held him in contempt of court. The prosecutor argued the communications were no longer privileged because the pastor had waived the privilege by talking to others about the conversations. The court ruled that, while the pastor broke the rules regarding the confidentiality of the statements, the congregant’s rights regarding the privileged nature of the communications were still intact. Essentially, the court stated that only the communicant may waive his privilege. The acts of another unauthorized person may not act to waive the confidential nature of these special conversations."

Well she is a professional counselor so I would not be suggesting her ideas are CRAZY.

One has to wonder how many clients this professional counselor has had who have the same set of tragic circumstances to present.

I would think another candlelight vigil would be in order. Of course these children know their mother is missing. Knowing that people care and are looking for her would comfort them.

Is it a general practice to hold a memorial service for someone who is missing? When I think of memorial service, I think of funeral. Perhaps that's what the poster who objected was thinking this counselor meant.

Well she is a professional counselor so I would not be suggesting her ideas are CRAZY. And no on is talking about throwing in any towel on finding out what happened. Here it is, I should never have shared the info about her son with a bunch of strangers anyway, I thought maybe people on this board cared about the other victims, her children. And thought it was important to show they are going through life and dealing with what kids deal with and have to have a mother missing at the same time. I'm sure it would be a wonderful idea to drag her young sons out to go look for a deaceased body of their mother, yeah, hum wonder why the dad's aren't out searching. Good God! I will not be sharing anymore info on this board about anything being that people only want to criticize and gossip about what might have happened and what isn't being done. Why don't you go search for RA instead of sitting on here speculating all day and wonder why no one else is doing enough to help find her. And further more her son wanted to get up and share with his class what he was going through, his teacher did not make him, he hoped they would understand and leave him alone, he is much stronger than any of those little aholes at school and he is for the time being handling things and trying to live as much of a normal life as he can .

What makes you think we are all STRANGERS to this family? I can say that I personally care VERY much about her children and her family. I am only suggesting that it "seems" crazy to give up so soon. I am not implying anything about the counselor, although I have known professional counselors who have their own issues (they are human too.) Maybe it is because I care so much that I DON'T want to give up hope. I think that my understanding of this site is for people to try to figure out what happened...being sleuths on the web. They wouldn't be here if they didn't care...about ALL the victims.

I completely understood what you meant by "too soon".
The goal is to help the boys cope with their Mom being missing, however that is best achieved. Just wanted you to know Friend0325, I think Rachael was very lucky to have you as a friend and you have shown a wonderful amount of support for her here at WS.

ETA; Not sure if the wording came out right; I agree with Friend and we are all free to have an opinion here, without being berated.

I know letters were sent to the judge on a few friends and families behalf, not sure if the girls attended or not with finals at school and all that. But if they could I am SURE they were there! I am nervous and have some huge anxiety at the moment. Wish I was a fly on the wall that is for sure.

I expected him to plead NG.

Investigators have been searching for his wife and this week said they have several persons of interest in Anderson's case but declined to elaborate.

Capone will remain in jail until his jury trial which is scheduled for July 6th.

Anyone want to take a guess at the any of the several?

He pled "not guilty." There are pictures! How's he going to explain that away? Say they were RA's guns and he was just posing with them?

And more importantly, WHERE IS RA???? What are they doing about these "persons of interest?"

He's buying time with the NG plea. I'll take the first step and just say if the rumors are true of the sighting in Pullman---there's only one connection I know of to Pullman --- so far.

141, Do you know--- was the sighting at the abandoned grain elevators in Pullman also?
