As for CC's case it kind of feels like we will just be sitting and waiting until he goes to trial on the 6th of July......even then it doesn't do anything for this case with Rachael...
I agree, That is a long time to wait to see what happens, lets hope LE has something MORE beneficial to FINDING RACHAEL before then, although my hopes aren't very high for that right now.
I am beginning to think that all the past "unsolved" cases are just swept under the rug, I didn't want to think that at first, but really LE isn't making us feel any better about what they are "doing" or the lack there of. IMO.
It is so sad. The posts for Rachael are slowing down. It is hard to keep gathering thoughts to post when there are NO new leads. I can't help but think a real disservice is being done by LE by not giving the public any tips to help find her or any information at all. Time passes, memories fade. It is just SO SAD. Women are beat and killed every day. Is this something we want to ignore? If CC is not responsible for this, then who? This is a domestic violence case - she was strangled by CC before... God willing, let something break in this case so this family may find peace.
It becomes an issue of making "the case" or finding Rachael. I believe a happy medium may be found for all parties involved. Does the sanctity of the case really matter if Rachael is never found? I don't think so. The most important factor is finding her. Nothing else matters - purity of information, not spoiling crime scenes, lab results, rumors, facts, etc. if she is not found. This is unbelievable. I lived in Lewiston and a man I worked with, a gay man, was murdered by some transients it was believed. They were never found and the case was not solved. I am beginning to doubt the LE's ability to handle a case of this magnitude or any missing person's case. We have seen a long list of unsolved cases in this region. Bring in the big boys and girls! Sorry, but that is my opinion.
CC will never talk. I almost guarantee that. I hope he does. I hope he proves us wrong. I don't have very high regards to LE right now. Which is sad, I wish they would understand that no one wants the case hurt but everyone wants something to go on. I don't even care if it is stuff we already know, just Anything to keep Rachael in the Media's eye. Why is that so hard?
7 weeks ago tomorrow is when they found the Yukon in Lewiston. That was a wednesday. I believe they went to his shop that friday the 23rd?? So 7 weeks with evidence they have said they collected. Plenty of time?
Of course, one should keep in mind that one can be facing criminal charges e.g. interference with an investigation, obstruction of justice, or civil suits e.g. defamation of character, libel, slander, if one engages in those activities...
Let's not promulgate violating laws here, not to mention that engaging in those activities can *prevent* Rachael from being found.

The city of Lapwai is a small, but transforming city, geographically located in North Central Idaho. Nestled in a valley between rolling hills near the Clearwater River, it is within the boundaries of both Nez Perce County and the Nez Perce Indian Reservation. Rich in history, culture and diversity, Lapwai is within a 30 minute drive to mountain meadows, rolling farm lands, rugged back country and numerous rivers, lakes, and outdoor adventures. A regional airport, inland seaport, malls, and other conveniences are 12 miles away in the city of Lewiston. All four seasons are celebrated, but milder winters are normal.
I am going with close. AS IN Rachael is close to Lewiston. This gives CC a little of everything. Trees, water, farm land... You name it.
I don't see him going far. I truly don't ..... Indian Reservation, what better place? Brings lots of questions to mind about how to investigate or search on IR property. ??
